Post Body

Hey there guys and gals,

I am doing my best to be as understanding as possible in a time where things are just crazy, but this is just a bit frustrating, and I'm hoping someone can shine some light on this, or maybe point me in the direction of what I should do next.

I had a package that was due to be delivered a couple of days ago that got delayed on the way here...which happens. However it was out for delivery yesterday, and I sat, excited waiting for it to be delivered. My Fedex driver stopped in front of my house around the time he normally does, and sat there for about 2 minutes and then drove off without delivering anything to me or my neighbors. I happen to be watching out of a window, because I didnt want to be outside and cause some concern due to a custmer being out there and being too close during a pandemic...so seeing him show up and then leave bothered me. I called customer service, and they said its probably on a different truck...which sure, I could understand that. So I wait a few more hours and nothing. Call again, and CS says it is absolutely going to be delivered, 100% guarantee. a few minutes later, the tracking flips to say its being delivered the next day (today). So I call in again and speak with a supervisor, who says it looks like the package never made it on the truck, even though it was scanned. Ok...frustrating, but I understand mistakes happen. She assures me it will be delivered the next day (today). I wake up this morning, and check and its never even been scanned onto the truck. So I call again, and the CS agent says none of my previous calls were escalated correctly, so he will escalate to a case manager. Case manager calls me back an hour or so later, and says He shows its been scanned in, and that they will be shipping it out the next day, and since its Fedex home, it will be shipped tomorrow. I tell him on my tracking it says Monday. He stumbles and says well it could be, but it should be Saturday. I thank him for his time, and follow the advice I've seen on other posts and call in and ask for my local hub, during which, the automated voice says my package is Fedex ground and will be shipped Monday....but on my tracing number, and according to what the case manager said, its fedex home? I talk to a nice lady there who says she sees I had a case manager, and that she sees no reason it SHOULDNT be delivered to me tomorrow...but that conflicts with what it says on everything else. So now I'm a bit frustrated, and confused, and it seems like no one has an answer. I get this is a weird time, and delays happen.. and that would be fine if someone could give me a clear answer on what is actually going on and when I will actually get my package. Is there anyone who can help me figure out whats going on, or point me in the direction of where to go next? I have been waiting a week for this, and I just want to prevent this from getting drug out even further with no answers.

Update: It was finally delivered today (10/12) but not in its box, and the bed had some slight damage with one of the springs ticking out...I caught the driver as he was unloading it and apologized to him that he had to haul this stupid thing here...now looks like he'll have to do it two more times due to the damage. I feel bad for the guy.
