Which TV show/movie hit TOO close to home?
Post Body

[I apologize if the following is depressing and too difficult for you, but I want to share something that was taken away from me too soon. If you experience the same, please know that you’re not alone]

I don’t know if you watched it, but to me, it’s Beautiful Little Things starring the phenomenal Kathryn Hahn and Merritt Weaver. It’s about the loss of Clare’s (Kathryn Hahn) mother (Merritt Weaver) due to cancer. The raw emotions and perfect acting of these two actresses BROKE me. Clare only had three weeks with her mother since she was diagnosed with cancer. THREE WEEKS. I had ZERO. My mother passed away when I was nine. She was in very good health and didn’t suffer from anything. She died suddenly when I was at school. This show was gut-punching to me. TOO close to home.

Edit: Thank you for sharing your stories with us 🩷 I got so emotional here reading them😭. Just remember that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger 💪🏼

Edit 2: the show/book called Tiny Beautiful Things
