New headlines daily. He seems like a real peach. 🥴
Taken advantage of? Lol why should she be entitled to more than that? She was also given cash payouts and he funded her business during the marriage. If anyone is taking advantage of anyone is the lawyer who decided to take her case. She signed what is likely an airtight/binding prenup 20 years ago and is now trying to circumvent that.
He has also agreed for shared custody and said the kids are welcome to stay at the house full time if they want.
Wtf are you talking about? The case is over. he won. she didn't have a leg to stand on and got her butt handed to her.
That is a very simplistic and incorrect assessment. Only in a community property state is a spouse entitled to half and that is regardless of whether they were stay at home.
In this case an airtight prenup was signed so why should she get more than what is laid out in the agreement? As we can all clearly see the law was on Kevin's side and his ex lost every single claim she went to court over. She knew the prenup was going to be upheld so she settled quickly.

I am not seeing how she was put in a position of weakness. She got the luxury lifestyle that comes with being married to one of the most famous people on the planet plus multiple cash payouts during the marriage. Costner also funded her business ventures. It's one thing if he was offering her nothing, but she has likely received millions over the course of 20 years from him.
Will never understand why (either sex) thinks they are entitled to another spouses earnings simply because you were married to them. In this case in particular because she likely had all the help in the world in raising the kids and was still able to pursue her career interests (funded by Costner).
