Do I have to wait any give amount of time to file a parental abduction? During the divorce she left the state with the kids. I was awarded primary custody. During the divorce failed to respond to the court, I was given a default. She moved right at the end of the divorce or once it was finished not sure and did not inform the court. Now since she found out she has gone dark. Won’t answer her phone and has either taken away or turned off my daughter phone that I provided her because she wasn’t letting me talk to my kids. The only answer I have been given so far is registering the decree in that state and they might enforce it. I don’t have the 5k for a lawyer’s retainer because of some dirty stuff she did before the separation and after the divorce. I guess the question is do I file parental abduction case?
