Another man's interference
Post Body

My ex met a man who is approximately 30 years older than she is at church. Both of them claim that they are just friends. However, this man has exhibited some odd behavior that I find to be problematic. For one, my ex told me that she had no problem with my son calling this man papa. I, however, do have a problem with this, because I am the father of my son. Additionally, there have been times when I have been speaking to medical professionals and he has interjected during times while I was speaking. It is one thing if they were to date. I don't care about that. However, what I do care about is him trying to act like I am a replacement father, even though I have custody of my son more than his mom does by a long shot. Additionally, she praises this man, whom she has literally only known for maybe a month or two. She does it openly in front of others, while refusing to give me any credit for anything at all. It's not that I need my ego stroked like a cat, but being given credit for all the work that I have done where my son is concerned would be nice. How do you deal with a situation like this?
