I am a father of two. I have a daughter who is 8 years old, and a son who is almost 6 months old. I am looking for Dad's in the Denver area to connect with. I am a blind father as well. Yesterday, my son was quite fussy. I knew that he was hungry, but I couldn't get him calm down enough to take a bottle for more than an hour. I live in an apartment complex, and I requested help from my neighbors, who only want to help when it is convenient to do so. They turned me away, even when they could see that. I was clearly frustrated, having done everything I possibly could do to resolve the issue. While I did eventually get him to take it, it is infuriating to me. How little support there is for fathers nowadays. Women, on the other hand, get all the support in the world. However, as men, we don't often get enough support.
