I know that traditionally, Fascists and Socialists supposedly hated each other. I also know that most people these days consider them to be the exact opposite of each other. However, whenever I read or listen to people describing their practical economic policies, they sound strikingly similar. I can't get any sense out of the socialists though. Whenever I ask them what the difference is they just say things like "Fascists are socialist in name only but they are actually capitalists", but then can't explain beyond that. Anyone care to explain it to me?
