Dear people of the Faroe Islands*,

yes, I'm one of "these" people, who are coming to your country during summer. Mainly for watching football, hiking and see as mutch as I can.

I allready planed a lot, but no matter what I do - I can't find informations for the jóansøka Festival this year. It should be around the 20-25.06 ( I arrive at the 17th) but I only found something about something like a sailing-event (https://rsf.fo/events/joansoka/). Nothing in event-calendars or events on facebook etc.

I already read, that there's an annual hike in the longest day of the year with a picknik on a mountain, but here again: nothing for this year or any information how I can join or anything.

Can maybe someone of you help me out?

If you have any special other festivals/events between 17.06 and 04.07 would be welcome too :)

* In germany you often get corrected bei saying "Färöer Inseln", because "island" is allready included in Faroe, does this matter to you, or you simply don't care if people say "Faroe Islands" or "Faroes" (in german "Färöer Inseln"/"Färöer")
