Limited edition items?

My GF bought me Far Cry 4 for Christmas. She bought it from a small game store and I suspect they just resold a used copy for full price. It's the limited edition but there is no insert with a limited edition code and so far I haven't seen any indication in the game that I have anything special. Was there an insert that I didn't receive? Is there another way to access the limited edition content that I may have over looked?
