Post Body

Bray Wyatt was easily one of the best creative minds in professional wrestling, but throughout the past several years, WWE failed to see the aforementioned talent's undeniable abilities. Without any plans going forward for the former 2x Universal Champion, they simply gave up, and let him go from his contract without a second thought. Without any future plans for The Eater Of Worlds, he failed to show his prescence for several months, and seemingly vanished from the world he once loved. He once proved to have boundless potential, and the talent to be a multi-time world champion, but when all else has failed, it's only up to him to pan out his own future. So without futherado, let's take a look at how the future of the once dominating force will pan out...

Winter Is Coming II - December 15th, 2021

'Hangman' Adam Page (c) v. Peter Avalon - AEW World Championship Match

Following his monumental victory at Full Gear a few weeks back, 'Hangman' Adam Page has unsurprisingly been on cloud nine, but he must return to reality this evening, as he attempts to successfully defend AEW's top prize for the first time, against none other than Peter Avalon! They waste no time in getting to work, as the challenger spends the early goings of the contest falling victim to the champion's high-impact offense, and without an attempt in countering it, this simply only continues to occur. He proceeds to put down his opposition, even at one point connecting with a FALLAWAY SLAM, which only increased the pain felt for Avalon, especially in the targeted area. However, even with all of that out in the open, the momentum began to swing the other way, as Peter began to finally fight back against the champion, attempting to not take this opportunity for granted.

With that said, without any further hesitation, Avalon attempts for an enzuigiri, BUT MISSES THE CHAMPION AND FALLS DIRECTLY ON HIS FACE! Seeing this occur right before his eyes, all he can do is laugh at the misfortunes of his opponent, and continue on with the contest, as he returns his attention to concluding this matchup. He begins to hoist up his challenger, and attempts for a DEADEYE, but he becomes distracted as the titantron begins to flicker on-and-off, until a solid video is finally able to visibly be shown. IT'S BRAY WYATT, HE'S HERE! However, there's something off about him amidst his return, as his overall appearance is disheveled, and he clearly staggers upon his feet, proceeding to almost lose his balance in the process. As the camera begins to lower down to his side, a tall-glass of beer is seen, as he begins to raise it up to his lips, we transition back over to the ring. The sight of just one cold one, immediately distracts the champion, as Peter is able to luckily slip out... AND ROLLS UP PAGE! 1...2...3...! PETER AVALON IS THE AEW WORLD CHAMPION!

Peter Avalon def. 'Hangman' Adam Page (c) to win the AEW World Championship (24:33)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - December 22nd, 2021

Following the shocking arrival of Bray Wyatt at Winter Is Coming II, he's seen in the backstage hallways to kick off this week's broadcast. Quite similar to how he presented himself the prior week, he didn't seem all there, and yet another glass of beer by his side didn't help matters. However, upon continuing his journey through the back, he was eventually stopped by the former AEW World Champion, in the form of Hangman Page. Instead of having a certain desire for revenge, he seemed under the influence aswell at the moment, as the two individuals began to simply laugh at how last week's events unfolded, before Wyatt begins to speak in his drunken state.

He begins to state that, even if it's funny looking back on it, he still sincerely apologizes for what occurred the previous week. He honestly didn't know where he was, and simply found himself as apart of the closing moments of the second annual Winter Is Coming, and he isn't even aware if he's employed by AEW, but he doesn't feel like leaving either way. As he finishes up his dialogue, Page now responds for the first time, as he continues to laugh, stating that we currently live in a world, where Peter Avalon is the AEW World Champion, and that's simply incredible. Almost immediately after finishing his sentence, the two begin to stumble towards one another, before sharing a passionate hug, as the screen begins to fade to black, as the segment comes to a close.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - December 29th, 2021

With two weeks passing since his AEW World Championship loss, "Ghost Town Triumph" begins to play over the PA System, signifying that the former champion, is in the building this evening! He comes out from behind the curtain, and even without being the official world champion, it's still unclear if he's aware of that fact, as he wears a cheap replica belt around his waist, and proudly enters the ring wearing it. Upon getting situated in the center of it, Hangman Page begins to state how he refuses to believe that his rise to the top, was somehow altered by an enhancement talent. However, looking towards the future, he doesn't want to fall too far behind, and needs a friend to do so. As he says this, his request is seemingly granted, as Bray Wyatt joins his new-found ally.

Upon settling in right across from Hangman Page, he begins to raise the microphone up to his lips, where he begins to speak directly to the former champion. He states that, he needs to start moving past his embarrassing failures, because what he's wearing right now, it's simply depressing. However, in the mood to keep up the party, he suggests that they both enter the tag team division, and attempt to turn this disheartening reality into a career-altering one. With a slight hesitation from his possible partner in the making, Page eventually agrees to the proposal, as the two clack eachother's glasses against eachother, signifying their agreeance to join the division together.

AEW Saturday Night Dynamite - January 8th, 2022

With only a few days remaining until AEW's first annual Battle Of The Belts event, both Page and Wyatt take to the mics, as the former calls out the entire tag team division, stating that if anyone of them are going to underestimate them, simply due to their inability to be sober, they are sorely mistaken. They are two of AEW's very finest, and will lay a severe beatdown on anyone who begs to disagree, and maybe a little vomit aswell, which lets out an audible laugh from his partner. He now begins to nod, before stating that while their conditions may be in question, their intentions certainly aren't, as they challenge any duo to a proper 2-on-2 tag team contest, at Battle Of The Belts!

With that said, they simultaneously begin to look ahead of them, more specifically towards the entrance ramp, where they motion for a pair to answer their challenge. After a few moments had passed, the former AEW Tag Champions in the form of FTR, decided to make their way out from the back, and joined the unformidable team inside of the ring. Proceeding to grab a microphone, Dax Harwood chose to speak on behalf of hisself and his partner, as he began to state witnessing all of this is incredibly pathetic, and is undoubtedly an embarrassment to their division. Which is why next week, they will take care of the clear problem and extinguish the new paring before it truly begins. He begins to conclude his dialogue, as he says that the demolishment isn't for another week, and tonight all four of them should be able to share a cold beverage, before their eventual battle.

After saying this, he almost immediately begins to exit the ring, and eventually brings back four individual beers, which all of them proceed to drink together. Once they finish them, a sickening feeling in their stomachs begins to arise, which transitions to their faces, as hey now all begin to vomit across the squared circle, which leaves the crowd in awe. It seemed unclear if the two pairings were physically alright to compete next week, but a simultaneous gesture from all of them, let the AEW Faithful know, that all was well. Quite the sight to see, but now in only 4 days, these two teams will go into battle, with the unique friendship being tested between these two former world champions.

AEW Battle Of The Belts - January 12th, 2022

'Hangman' Adam Page & Bray Wyatt v. FTR - Tag Team Match

With a shot at arguably AEW's finest tag team, both Hangman Page and Bray Wyatt will have the opportunity to test theirselves against none other than, FTR! The former makes their entrance first, as the oddball pairing look surprisingly confident, proceeding to make their descent down the entrance ramp side-by-side. Finally sliding into the ring, the AEW Faithful's ovation of cheers quickly transitions into a roar of disdain, as right on cue, their opposition begins to walk out from behind the curtain. Confidence is shared between these two teams, but for the latter, they actually have a right to be, as they now begin to march towards the ring, and slide under the bottom rope. The official in charge of this contest, quickly points towards two opposite corners, which leads to all four individuals making their way to their corner, before the bell officially rings.

Both Bray Wyatt & Dax Harwood decide to start off this contest, choosing to do for their respective teams, as they slowly meet in the center of the ring. Without much time to waste, the two individuals engage in a lock-up, as they attempt to gain the early advantage, which Wyatt is unsurprisingly able to show off his prowess, and proceeds to send his adversary into the nearest corner. Following this, he attempts to continue this sequence, and heads towards Dash for a LARIAT IN THE CORNER, BUT WYATT TRIPS OVER AIR, AND FALLS DIRECTLY ONTO HIS FACE! The sight shocks Harwood, but feeling slightly bad for his opposition, he decides to FALL ON HIS FACE ASWELL, CHOOSING TO KEEP BRAY WYATT SOME COMPANY ON THE CANVAS!

The latter begins to lift up his head, and the sight of Harwood assumably imitating him sends him into a tailspin. Beginning to hoist himself up in a spider-walk position, Wyatt begins to close in on his opponent, but that doesn't halt Dash's chance to intimidate the freak. As he begins to position himself in a squat, seemingly looking directly into Wyatt's eyes, the interaction causes the latter to have to fall to the canvas, and escape the ring almost immediately. While out on ringside, he begins to hold his stomach, but simply not having enough patience to stay still, DASH CHARGES TOWARDS THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE RING, AND UPON ATTEMPTING FOR A SUICIDE DIVE, HE'S STRUCK WITH A STREAM OF VOMIT! HE'S BLINDED! No longer being able to see, he rushes over to his corner, only out of instinct though, as HE FINALLY TAGS IN CASH WILDER!

He now decides to enter the ring upon getting the legal tag, and having no other choice but to enter the ring aswell, Wyatt decides to do just that, and practically butts head with his opposition. However, before the sequence can move on any further, the crowd begin to beg for Hangman to be tagged in, which the aforementioned competitor is fully on-board with. With no real reasoning to oppose, Wyatt proceeds to tag in his partner, as for the first time in this contest, the former AEW World Champion enters the fray. He begins to directly go after his opposition, proceeding to strike him with a DISCUS FOREARM SMASH! 1...2...KICKOUT! Finding someway to escape the pinfall attempt, Wilder now attempts for a POWERBOMB, BUT HANGMAN CATCHES HIM WITH A DEADEYE!

Not exactly ready to let him go off to the sunset, he begins to make his way over to the apron, where he attempts for the conclusion of this contest, but as he goes for a BUCKSHOT LARIAT... CASH LOOKS FOR A KNEE TO THE JAW, BUT HIS KNEE SOMEHOW HITS HIS BALLS! He falls down to the canvas, beginning to scream in agony, which makes Hangman cry in laughter, and with no other choice, he drops to the cover...1...2...3...! HANGMAN PAGE AND BRAY WYATT CAPTURE THE VICTORY, AS CASH'S BALLS CONTINUE TO HURT, POOR FTR!

'Hangman' Adam Page & Bray Wyatt def. FTR via Pinfall (32:11)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - January 19th, 2021

Following their oddly strategic victory, the newly-formed tag team known as "Yowie Shit", are seen in the backstage area, seemingly pacing around back-and-forth throughout the location. However, their pacing is abrupted quite quickly, as a backstage interviewer interrupts them, who is none other than Dasha Gonzalez! She begins to question both of them on their feelings about last week's victory, and what the plan moving forward looks like, which Hangman decides to answer on behalf of his team. He responds by stating that, he wouldn't exactly call it a victory, but more on account of him passing out, but he'll take the win, and so will his partner. He continues on, and says that after defeating one of AEW's finest tag teams, they want to go directly for the top, and that's the AEW World Tag Team Champions - The Lucha Bros. With no more further questions, both men walk off from the camera's view, and make their intentions clearly known as they do so.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - January 26th, 2021

Taking notice of Yowie Shit's challenge, the AEW World Tag Champions are given a chance to speak this time, as they directly respond to their adversaries. They begin to state that, since the All Out PPV this year, they have carried the tag team division on their backs, toppling the likes of The Young Bucks, FTR, and most recently, Pride & Powerful. Nevertheless, no matter the credibility any specific team has, it doesn't matter, as they will put these titles on the line against all comers. He continues by saying that, even with a duo with only one contest will be treated the same, as they do accept their challenge, and they will put their titles on the line at AEW Revolution. With that said, the camera transitions over to where their challengers peaking around the corner, deciding to not mind their own business.

Hangman begins to lift up a plastic cup filled with beer, and attempts to use it as an unexplained magical force to take down the champions. Surprisingly, this ends up working somehow, as Rey Fenix proceeds to fall down to both of his knees, while holding his throat in a tight manner, which causes Page to show a sense of relief upon his face. However, that look quickly transitions to a feeling of fear, as Fenix begins to let go of his throat, and springs to his feet, as the pair proceed to attack their future challengers, and with this insane gameplan this evening, the segment comes to a close, and the video fades to black with the solid image of the champions relishing in their clear intelligence.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - February 2nd, 2022

With their plan having failed last week, it seemed doubtful that AEW Revolution would ever be their night, but if there is anything Bray Wyatt has taught us, it's that his mind is filled with one thing - ideas. This evening was no exception, as simply seeing no other option, he ends up stumbling up to the Owner of AEW, Tony Khan's office, and begins to repeatedly knock on the door, in a clearly furious manner. Eventually he opens the door, but to the surprise of any, his jaw proceeds to drop upon opening it, as he states that, he has no idea what Wyatt is doing here, nor how he became 1/2 of the AEW World Tag Team Champions. However, he won't complain, because he stole yet another talent from his competition, and most importantly, 'Bitchey Vincey'.

After concluding his sentence, Wyatt decides to respond, and says that he has nowhere else to go clearly, so for now this is home. With that being said, Lucha Bros disrespected both of them the prior week, and ruined their plot at getting ahead, which is why they want another opportunity at it. He goes onto suggest that, he goes one-on-one with Rey Fenix next week, and the winner of that contest has the luxury to choose the stipulation for their eventual tag title contest at AEW Revolution. A fearful nod from the boss, suggests this matchup has been signed off on, and will occur the following week!

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - February 9th, 2022

It's been made official! In just a matter of moments, Wyatt/Fenix will occur for the first time ever, and the stakes are admittedly quite high, with the winner being able to choose the stipulation come the AEW Revolution PPV. Before we head to ringside though, the sight of the former competitor is seen preparing for the aforementioned contest, but is quickly interrupted by his partner, who reminds Wyatt on how important this upcoming match-up truly is, which the latter quite aware of, as he promises walking out on top, is the only result that's allowed this evening. Upon finishing his dialogue, Hangman offers his ally an alcohol beverage, but instead of drinking it, he proceeds to pour it across his body, before walking out from behind the curtain as a soaked mess.

Bray Wyatt v. Rey Fenix - Winner chooses the stipulation at AEW Revolution

With Rey Fenix already settled in the ring, Bray continues his descent down the entrance ramp, and eventually joins his opposition inside of the squared circle. His body remains drenched, which is clearly noticeable from it dripping throughout the entirety of the ring, but that doesn't stop him from carrying on in this contest. Upon the bell officially ringing, the two completely opposite styles from these competitors shine through, as the incredibly smooth high-flying abilities of Rey Fenix shines through. While on other side of things, Wyatt uses his slow and methodical pace to strike fear to his opponent, not to add his sometimes-forgotten strength, which would be used to overpower his adversary tonight. Even with all of this said, Fenix was still able to muster up a comeback, even landing a SUNSET-FLIP POWERBOMB FROM THE TOP ROPE! This wasn't enough to put away the big man though, as Wyatt fired back with a URANAGE, and seemingly began to motion for the conclusion of this match-up. Upon attempting to finish off Fenix, the latter began to reverse his possible fate, and was able to step back a few inches, before attempting for a RUNNING HURRICANRANA! However, due to the mat now being extremely wet from Bray's drenched attire, FENIX WOULD SLIP ON THE CANVAS AND FALL RIGHT INTO THE ARMS OF HIS OPPONENT...YOWIE DROP!

Bray Wyatt def. Rey Fenix via pinfall (13:44)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - February 16th, 2022

On account of his victory last week, Bray Wyatt has given 'Yowie Shit' the opportunity to choose the stipulation for their upcoming tag title shot! In order to possibly find out any answers, the segment transitions into a local bar, where both Hangman Page and Bray Wyatt reside at currently, and just as many had suspected within AEW, they haven't left in days. From the corner of their eyes, they are able to see none other than, Dasha Gonzalez secretly spying on them, with a menu attempting to hide her face, but clearly it didn't work out as she had planned. With that said, they begin to make their way over to her table, and proceed to sit down right across from her, before beginning to speak.

They begin to state that, they know exactly why she's here, and that's to figure out which stipulation the AEW World Tag Team Championships will be defended under, and because they aren't exactly sober, they will tell her. Hangman now steps up to speak on behalf of both of them, as he says that, ever since meeting one another only a couple of months ago, it has felt as they were supposed to make magic with one another, which is exactly what they plan on doing in just a little under two weeks. That being said, the AEW tag titles will be contested inside the squared circle, but the twist is that, after every 180 seconds, the legal men will have to take three shots. He concludes his dialogue, by making sure it's crystal clear that, if you fail to finish all three shots in any compacity, you will automatically be disqualified, but a pinfall or submission victory is still allowed.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - February 23rd, 2022

With the stipulation made official for their tag title defense, the champions are already inside the ring, with a microphone in-hand for both individuals. Without wasting anytime, they begin to state that, their entire lives have been surrounded by pride and honor, especially in this line of work. Nonetheless, their challengers have forgotten what exactly feels like, and considering the stipulation they have chosen for Revolution, they might of never felt it in the first place. Continuing their dialogue, they begin to remind their challengers, that no matter the stipulation, they will enter battle with the same mindset as each-and-every prior one in their careers, even if it takes getting a bit tipsy. With that said, they conclude their speech, and exit the ring with their heads held up high.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - March 2nd, 2022

With only 4 days left until AEW Revolution, a video package dedicated to the tag team title contest begins to play. It's clearly poorly edited, but it still ends up showcasing the build for the upcoming match-up, which has spanned over the past month or so. Once the footage eventually comes to a close, both teams are given an opportunity to speak their minds in a side-by-side view, with the champions deciding to step up first. They begin to state that, they fully understand the ask at hand, and come Revolution, they will do what they promised since the day they entered this world, and that's to prove there's nothing more powerful than brotherhood. Upon concluding their statements, they begin to motion for their challengers to now respond, which they don't have to wait very long.

As they begin to speak, they quickly begin to state that, the champions aren't the only pairing to be a brotherhood, because the both of them aren't strangers to one another, they are united by one thing - a shot of alcohol. Which is exactly what could lead to capturing the tag titles, but their opposition obviously doesn't realize that. They continue by saying that, while they may hold the gold, they don't have home-field advantage, and no matter how much they believe this will be like any other contest, it simply won't be. This Sunday evening, new champions will be crowned, and they will proceed to start a new chapter in their wild alliance, with the gold around their waists by that time.

AEW Revolution - March 6th, 2022

Lucha Bros (c) v. Yowie Shit - AEW World Tag Team Championships | Claim Your Shot Match

Opening up this evening's PPV, is possibly the most creative match-up in the company's history, but it will still occur in hopes of walking out as the AEW World Tag Team Champions! With that said, the challengers make their way out from behind the curtain first, but they aren't all alone, as they come out with a rolling table filled with various shots, which will inevitably be empty by the time this contest comes to a conclusion. Proceeding to sit it up by the ringside area, they now enter the squared circle, and motion for the champions to meet them, exactly where they stand currently. Right on cue, the request seems to have been granted, as the Lucha Bros begin to make their entrance, which they are greeted with an ovation of cheers. Not wanting to waste another second, they now charge towards the ring, as all four individuals butt heads, before being separated into their respective corners.

The bell officially rings in a matter of moments, which signifies that the contest can officially begin now, and that's exactly what ends up occurring. Both Pentag贸n Jr. and Hangman Page decide to kick-off this match-up for both of their respective teams, and neither individual is able to contain their patience, and quickly begins to engage in a lock-up. Both of them attempt to use their first 180 seconds to good use, as they attempt to gain an early advantage, and to be more specific, their strength as a whole. Eventually, Hangman is able to just merely secure the upper-hand, but before he can trap his opponent in a nasty headlock, Pentag贸n is able to counter with a FRIGHTFUL KICK TO THE SHIN! Refusing to fall down to the canvas after the first attempt, he continues to repeatedly connect with the maneuver, until Hangman has no other choice but to fall down to a knee.

With the clock continuing to count down, Pentag贸n doesn't even hesitate in continuing his sequence, as he begins to rush towards the nearest set of ropes. However, upon rebounding off of them, Hangman is able to catch him in the nick of time, as he LANDS A FOREARM SMASH, DIRECTLY UPON THE JAW OF HIS OPPOSITION! However, with years of hard-hitting battles, Pentag贸n only backs up a couple of inches, BEFORE FIRING BACK WITH A SLINGBLADE! The execution is clearly beautiful, but before he can attempt for the pinfall victory, the count begins to decrease, which could only mean one thing, IT WAS TIME FOR THE FIRST GROUP OF SHOTS TO BEGIN! The official assigned for this contest, proceeded to grab the few they needed, and handed them to the two legal men.

Both Pentag贸n and Hangman proceed to take their shots, and surprisingly, they begin to get dizzy, but are still able to find their balance, but don't return to the center of the ring. Instead, they choose to tag in their individual tag partners, who are obviously fresh at this current point in time. As both Rey Fenix and Bray Wyatt simultaneously enter the ring together, and seemingly begin to go at it, but as Bray attempts to use his strength advantage, the lightning quick speed of the former abrupts the latter's chance to gain the upper-hand, and begins to strike him over-and-over again in the gut, which proceeds to send Wyatt down to both of his knees. Seeing this as his chance to strike first, he attempts for a GROUNDED HURRICANRANA... BUT BRAY CATCHES HIM WITH A URANAGE!

Once again the clock begins to countdown, with the shots being dished out to the two new legal men, but this time it completely makes them drowsy, and barely able to stand. Some men are lightweights, and this is the definition of that term right here, but it's starting to becoming quite clear, that the closing moments of this contest are certainly upon us. It seemed as Bray's light stomach was causing him issues, as he could barely stand properly and then it happened, HE BEGAN TO VOMIT ALL OVER THE RING! Noticing this, the ignorant champion attempted for a RUNNING HURRICANRANA, BUT HE SLIPPED ACROSS THE VOMIT AND RIGHT INTO THE ARMS OF WYATT... YOWIE DROP! 1...2...3..!

Yowie Shit def. Lucha Bros (c) to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships (33:33)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - March 9th, 2022

Following their shocking title victory this past weekend, a pre-recorded video package showcases both of the champion's reactions the night of the career-defining moment. On one side of things, the former AEW World Champion, in the form of Hangman Page, is shown having a terrifying dream where he is just like his partner, before arriving to AEW. Seemingly a cult leader, who's main objective is to cause arm to the world around him, but as the dream continues on, his face begins to transition from a frightening soul, to an admittedly peaceful one. Upon waking up after the dream concluded, he began to think aloud, questioning on how Bray Wyatt must be feeling at this moment, which quickly prompts the transition to his own dream, which was undoubtedly wild aswell.

It started off with him as none other than a cowboy, seemingly living an unfamiliar life from his previous one, and his priorities at an all-time low. Unlike his tag partner, his face remained in a state of horror, as the dream continued to carry on, until both dreams finally come to it's individual conclusions, and both men proceed to awaken simultaneously, but once they do, they begin to realize it's a nightmare they're waking up to. They turn to one another, as they immediately remember they shared a bed the prior night, and they proceed to rush out of the room in opposite directions, with one successfully doing so, and the other crashing into the wall!

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - March 23rd, 2022

Given a week off after the traumatic experience, the champions return to AEW Dynamite this evening, deciding to meet-up in the backstage area, and upon doing so, both individuals are found wearing the exact outfits they did in their dreams from almost two weeks ago. Instead of addressing the matter, the two simply begin to shrug it off, and proceed to move onto more important topics, such as the future of their title reign. They begin to go back-and-forth on how the Lucha Bros may have been conquered, but the real test has yet to begin, and now it's up to them to make sure they haven't forgotten that. As they continue to speak, they begin to complain about the weight of the titles, and how it's merely impossible to carry them around upon their shoulders, but as they say this, they are interrupted by the most unexpected of visitors...

The Gunn Club begin to make their way towards the champions, and don't waste anytime in beginning to speak. They begin to state that, it's quite hilarious that the pairing had to take a week off, simply because of their immature decisions, but for them, they are here week in-and-out, no matter if the cameras are on them or not. Which is exactly why they are here, for too long they have been neglected from the only thing they have strived for since arriving in AEW - a Tag Team Championship opportunity. Continuing on with their dialogue, they remind the AEW Faithful that, one fluke victory doesn't mean a damn thing, but over a couple dozen of legitimate victories, that means something. It's about time they are rewarded for their patience, and they don't need to reenact 'The Parent' Trap to accomplish this feat. Upon finally finishing their dialogue, they leave the area, with their intentions being well known to the general public, and more importantly, to the champions.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - April 6th, 2022

Bray Wyatt v. Billy Gunn - Singles Match

Following a confrontation between the two in the locker-room, both Bray Wyatt and Billy Gunn will go toe-to-toe, with the latter having the opportunity to earn both of his sons a chance at championship gold! Both individuals proceed to make their individual entrances, with the two being greeted in totally opposite ways, but that's to be expected, as the bell officially rings. Having quite different styles inside of the squared circle, it certainly created for the competitive contest, and to match that, a back-and-forth match-up aswell. Wyatt manages to connect with a URANAGE, while Billy fires back with a FALLAWAY SLAM! By the closing moments of this contest, it had seemed as either individual could walk out on top, but eventually an error had to end up occurring, which was an unfortunate reality for Bray Wyatt. He ended up slipping on his own shoelace, and walking straight into a GUNNSLINGER! 1...2...3...! WYATT FALLS TO THE VETERAN, WHICH MEANS THE GUNN CLUB EARNS A FUTURE TAG TITLE SHOT!

Billy Gunn def. Bray Wyatt via Pinfall (4:33)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - April 13th, 2022

Following his shockingly quick loss to Billy Gunn, Bray Wyatt is seen backstage, where The Gunn Club exactly are, but instead he runs into his tag partner, Hangman Page! The latter attempts to calm down the former, and offers him a tall-glass of beer in the process, which he politely declines and takes out a bottle of water instead, which leaves Hangman speechless. Noticing he's the one that must speak, he begins to state that, there's more important things than alcohol right now, and to be more specific, they need to begin preparing for their first defence against The Gunn Club. Finally, Hangman is able to gather his words once again, and proceeds to interrupt his partner, as he says that, while he may be buzzed, he isn't ignorant. He isn't the one that fell to a washed-up bum last week, and he won't be the one that loses to his sons either, so next week, Bray better remember what got them here in the first place, and it wasn't a healthy taste of aqua.

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - April 20th, 2022

Only a little over a month into their reign, Yowie Shit's first defence is only moments away from occurring, but before it officially gets underway, they seemingly take part in a backstage interview right behind the curtain. None other than, Dasha Gonzalez begins to question the champions on their mini-argument last week, and how that might affect them in their title contest coming up. Without any hesitation, Hangman Page decides to step up and speak on behalf of the team, as he begins to state that, Bray might've chosen the dark side recently, but he's able to look past that, considering they are still the champions at the current moment, and by the end of the evening, he is almost certain things will remain the same. He concludes by saying that, if they aren't, water might not be his only enemy by the end of tonight. As he says this, the two head out from behind the curtain, as their music hits.

Yowie Shit (c) v. The Gunn Club - AEW World Tag Team Championships

Once both teams complete their individual entrances, the battle for supremacy no longer has to wait, as the opening bell sounds, with it echoing throughout the arena. Unsurprisingly, this contest ends up being quite the back-and-forth battle, with both pairings using their well-learnt chemistry to good use, but their individual skills were equally important aswell. While the legal men, known as Bray Wyatt and Austin Gunn, began to go back-and-forth with one another, busting out a NASTY DROPKICK, AND FOLLOWED UP WITH A SADISTIC URANAGE! Even after all of that, and multiple attempts to put this match-up to bed, it simply wasn't enough, until the conclusion of this contest was finally met. Hangman began to beg for the tag, seemingly desperate to enter the fray. However, as Bray attempts to do just that, Hangman grabs a bottle of water, and splashes into his partner's eyes! AN ACT OF REVENGE IS UPON US, AND THE BETRAYAL LEADS TO A ROLL-UP FROM AUSTIN...1...2...3...! NEW CHAMPS, THE GUNN CLUB DOES IT SOMEHOW!

The Gunn Club def. Yowie Shit (c) to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships (44:00)

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite - April 27th, 2022

The once calm location quickly becomes a hostile one, as Bray Wyatt sneakily requests for a glass of water, which sparks a nasty reaction from Hangman, who begins to berate his former partner about how when he's under the influence of aqua, it changes him, for the worse. So, feeling as there was no other choice, he made sure to use his greatest weakness against him, and now he's back to being a failure, just like before he arrived to AEW. As he finishes his dialogue, the bartender hands the beverage to Wyatt, who politely takes ahold of it, AND SMASHES IT ACROSS THE SKULL OF HANGMAN! However, as he realizes it isn't glass, it's too late, the plastic cup simply falls to the ground, and HANGMAN PUTS HIM DOWN WITH A LARIAT!
