United States Championship

Damian Priest (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Mustafa Ali vs. Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. AJ Styles

Ladder Match

The 2022 Royal Rumble PPV saw Damian Priest finally capture singles gold on the Main Roster, dethroning Sheamus after a closely contested matchup between the two individuals. With the United States Championship now in his grasp after nearly 12 months, things would seemingly only get belligerent on the Road To WrestleMania. As it's announced that Priest will defend his US Title at Elimination Chamber in a rematch against Sheamus, and once we reached our destination, it proved to be an even more brutal contest than their previous encounter. However, the result still remained the same, with Priest successfully retaining his belt, but the challengers only grew even more rugged from here-on-out. As it's announced that Priest will defend his newly-won championship at WrestleMania against 5 of the Red Brand's finest competitors.

SmackDown Tag Team Championships

The Usos (c) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods)

Ever since Jimmy Uso's initial return in June of 2021, it has been quite a struggle for The Usos to live up to their previous accomplishments. Hoping to re-establish themselves along the way though, the constant failures finally caught up to them, and after months of being belittled by The Tribal Chief, it all began to click for them. Fast-forwarding to Hell In A Cell in October, the Father-and-Son duo of Rey and Dominick Mysterio finally met their match, as their kryptonite seemed to be The Usos, who splashed their way to once again being SmackDown Tag Team Champions. For months following this monumental victory, they cleaned the division absolutely clean, defeating the likes of Chad Gable & Otis, Rey & Dominick Mysterio & The Street Profits. With no one left to challenge come this year's Wrestlemania, it seemed as all hope was lost to terminate this near 6 month reign...

Following yet another successful defense at Fastlane, the celebration would ensue, with their road to Arlington being without any tangible road bumps as of this moment. This commemoration didn't last too long however, as a surprising duo has assumingly returned to Friday Nights! IT'S THE NEW DAY! A shocked expression appears on both of the champion's faces, as the the past wars between these two duos has resurfaced, one that they'd hope they wouldn't have to live ever again. Upon entering the ring, they begin to state that for months-and-months they have ruled the division over on RAW, even defending the brand's tag titles at last year's WrestleMania. But seeing as a couple of old friends decided to get their shit together, and capture gold once again finally, a change of scenery seemed expeditious. And at WrestleMania, they want the titles they made relevant back on their shoulders.

After the events that ensued at Fastlane, the following Friday Night saw The New Day waltzing throughout the backstage area, aswell as being greeted by old peers of the past. This would continue for several moments until reaching SD GM, Sonya Deville's office, as they demand a title match for Wrestlemania. This aggressive tone isn't taken lightly by her either, as she replies by stating that they will have to earn it, by beating all of The Usos' previous challengers, who evidently failed to dethrone them. With a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contender's Match now made official, it would be The New Day who prevailed above the rest, with Kingston catching Gable with a Trouble In Paradise, proving their points made at Fastlane to be true, aswell as earning a shot for his team at WrestleMania!

Seth Rollins vs. Edge - If Edge Loses, He Must Retire

Few individuals are able to parallel Edge's comeback story, nor able to experience the years following his painful experience. However, one man was there for both, and had been waiting over 7 years to once again strike, with that man being named... SETH ROLLINS! On the other hand of the spectrum though, for the past calendar year, Edge has been attempting to re-emerge in the World Title picture since failing to dethrone Roman Reigns. A final gasp of fresh air was seen at this year's Royal Rumble event, as he attempted to reiterate the previous year's victory, and headline the event for a third time. However, his dreams were quickly dashed in a matter of moments, as Rollins sneakily eliminated him from behind, as apart of the final six. A highly disappointed Edge could only watch on as others fought for his dream, and his Road To WrestleMania was now uncertain...

On the following night, Edge took to the ring in a similar fashion as the prior night, not completely in the finest mindset. Nonetheless, he begins to speak about his inability to win the big one for sometime now, specifically last night, and he can only blame one man, that being himself. For one entire calendar year, he has lost match-after-match, and now unlike last year, he has no Road To WrestleMania. However, he decides that he can't sit back calmly and watch his last years pass by before his very eyes, which is why he has declared for the RAW Elimination Chamber Match. In the following weeks, Elimination Chamber qualifying matches began to take place, with both Edge & Seth Rollins individually qualifying during this time period. The final four of the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match would come down to Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Edge, and the champ Bobby Lashley. Rollins would be shocked as Edge would get a sneaky one on Rollins, The Ultimate Opportunist doing like Jeff Hardy did to him all those years ago and eliminating him with a Small Package! This would not sit well with the rechristened Monday Night Messiah, as he would viciously attack Edge, before removing the padding of the Elimination Chamber, and hitting a Curb Stomp onto Edge right onto the steel grate. Satisfied, Rollins would leave the Chamber as Lashley would pin Edge off of Seth's actions, eliminating him from the match. Edge would not be seen again until the Raw three weeks before Fastlane, attacking Rollins during a promo of his, a brace adorned around his neck. He would viciously attack Rollins, trying to end off the attack with a Con-chair-to, but would be pulled away by referees and convinced not to. Rollins would then try to forget about Edge, saying that he is focused on entering the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania and making it a threeway, as Edge's attack on him made him miss the scheduled #1 Contender's Match for the WWE Championship Match at Fastlane. Saying that he would've won that match and been Champion if it weren't for Edge. Rollins would get this opportunity, facing Royal Rumble winner Keith Lee at Fastlane, but Lee would win clean with the The Spirit Bomb, Rollins unable to kick out due to his neck injury. To put insult to injury, Edge would come out after the match and take off his neck brace, and then put it on Rollins. Saying "Looks like you need this bud."

This would enrage Rollins, who next week on Raw would get a microphone and demand that Edge get out. He would and would say that he is glad he finally got to Seth so he can finally get what he wants. Revenge. He is not satisfied with just ruining Seth's chances at Fastlane, but he wants more. He wants to beat Seth to a bloody pulp and do to him what he threatened to do to him at Elimination Chamber, and that is shorten his lifespan. And so he wants Seth, one on one, No Holds Barred, at the place where the most people can watch him suffer, WrestleMania. Seth would say that after what Edge did, he needs to put up more before he is given carte blanche of what he wants. And so Seth says he will accept under one condition, if Edge loses, he must retire from the wrestling business and never step foot in the squared circle ever again. Edge would accept and the match would be made for WrestleMania.

RAW Tag Team Championships

RKBro (c) vs. The Miz & John Morrison

At SummerSlam, RK-Bro would prove to be the premier team on Raw, defeating AJ Styles & Omos to become the Raw Tag Team Champions. In their reign they would defeat Styles & Omos again and Mace & T-Bar before the draft. They would go onto defend post-draft against teams like Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez, the team of Mustafa Ali & Mansoor, and The Dirty Dawgs. RK-Bro has been dominant as champions, proving to now be a well oiled machine. But at Fastlane they would be attacked by a returning Miz alongside John Morrison! Miz would be finally fully recovered from this ACL Tear and would be raring to get gold back around his waist, saying that sitting at home and stewing with an injury, something he's never had to do in his career, has made him hungrier than ever. Matt Riddle would give them the challenge without them having to earn it, ticking off Orton a bit, resurfacing tensions between Riddle & Orton that had been gone for the past few months of RK-Bro's title reign. The questions on everyone's minds going into Mania would be: How healthy is Miz's ACL truly, and can he keep up in a title match with one of the best tag teams Raw has seen as champs in recent years? And will RK-Bro stay a unit, or will Orton turn on The Original Bro, and throw away everything he and Riddle have built in the past few months?

RAW Women's Championship

Asuka (c) vs. Io Shirai

Even with her lack of WrestleMania victories, Asuka has left a legacy in this sport undoubtedly, with few individuals being able to do compare to her undeniable success. However, for nearly four years she has been struggling to find her inner-self, the one that led to a 1000 day undefeated streak over in NXT, which the WWE Faithful consistently pleaded to return aswell. This statement was put to the test multiple times, and even with several failures pushing her further down the line, but eventually the stars began to align for The Empress Of Tomorrow. As she seemingly recaptured the RAW Women’s Championship at the Royal Rumble from one Charlotte Flair, the reign she had always hoped for, has begun. On this same night, an old friend of her’s sparked the wrestling world and won the Women’s Royal Rumble. That Women’s name of course being...Io Shirai! Both women proceed to show flashes of brilliance throughout the next couple of months, with Asuka's title reign finally living up to the expectations many had put on her years earlier, putting away opponent-after-opponent, in order to secure the acclaimed dream match against former "Triple Tails" stablemate.

On the other side of the spectrum, Shirai had made her name known immediately, winning the Royal Rumble match on her debut! Similar to Asuka, both individuals have shined almost immediately following their initial journey in the Main Roster, and the jealousy began to truly settle in... As during the build to this contest, Asuka attempted to one-up Shirai constantly, possibly feeling insecure at how well her opposition has done since arriving in her pronounced Kingdom, completing an achievement that took her 6 months to achieve herself, and it seemed as it could only take a few months to ruin everything Asuka has worked so incredibly hard to rebuild. Upon officially challenging Asuka to a RAW Women's Championship matchup at WrestleMania as it has been teased for months, Shirai offers a handshake, signifying the respect between both women, as Asuka disrespectfully declines, proving that this contest means much more than any friendship.

Intercontinental Championship

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Cesaro

The King Of Strong Style has done it all, and traveled across the world to do so, and unlike in the Tokyo Dome, Shinsuke Nakamura has failed to claim victory at WrestleMania after four years worth of attempts. His Road To WrestleMania's have been quite rocky since 2019, but this time around has certainly treated him well. After a rough later part of the year, Nakamura was able to capture the IC title for a second time, dethroning his former stablemate in the form of Sami Zayn in the process! Upon doing so though, a more aggressive side of Nakamura began to resurface, one that had been hidden in the back of his mind for several months now, but it no longer could tucked away any longer... Putting away opponent-after-opponent, there seemed to be no stopping the Intercontinental Champion heading into Fastlane, and after yet another successful defense in the books, Nakamura called out for anyone in the back to take the next shot, but to understand that they will only be the next victim. Silence filled the arena, moments passing by without any sign of competition coming his way, UNTIL OUT CAME CESARO! He points to the WrestleMania sign, a clear sign of things to come, as two former teammates look to clash at the biggest event of the year!

During the next month, Cesaro made it a point to speak out his issues with his former friend, specifically about Nakamura's new-found ruthless attitude. He stated that he can't beleive how far Nakamura has fallen, during their tenure as a tag team, they respected when good competition came along and didn't take the chance of being champion for granted. But Nakamura has done unbelievably both, and that's exactly why he's challenging him at this year's WrestleMania, to teach him a lesson in respect, something that he has seemingly lost without the direction of his friend. Nakamura fires back, stating that while Cesaro doesn't necessarily deserve this opportunity, he's not going to let him bad-mouth him without any repercussions, that's just not how life works. And at WrestleMania, there will be no special Mania moment for Cesaro, because as cliché as it may sound, nice guys always finish last, and Cesaro won't be an exception on April 2nd.

Drew Mcintyre vs. Daniel Bryan

Drew Mcintyre was one of, if not 2020's WWE MVP, specifically for his involvement in the WWE title picture for most of that time, as it spanned into the following year aswell. Unfortunately for him, 2021 wasn't as successful as the year prior, especially considering his painful loss inside of Hell In A Cell against Bobby Lashley, and without an opportunity to seek revenge against the man who costed him everything... But instead has decided to return to his 2019 self, taking vengeance on whoever he deems fit, for months-upon-months this remains the theme, with no one daring to step up to The Scottish Psychopath. Upon finishing off his most recent victim at Fastlane, Mcintyre begins his beatdown following the bell ringing numerous times, as the lights eventually begin to dim. It dims more-and-more until it's fully pitch black, and once they turn back on... RUNNING KNEE! IT'S DANIEL BRYAN! With his long hair and fully-lengthen beard had returned, as he has come back for one reason ; DREW MCINTYRE!

For the following month, Bryan begins to speak about why he has come back, stating that for the past year he has been enjoying his time on the Indie Scene, wrestling across the globe. But one thing that occurred before leaving was Roman Reigns' terrorizing behavior towards him, so the way that he sees it, Mcintyre truly deserves what he's getting into, and he needs to

WWE Championship

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Keith Lee

At The Royal Rumble, the show closed with Keith Lee reaching heights that most men have been unable to achieve, he won the 30 Man Royal Rumble and punched his ticket for a championship match at WrestleMania. And Keith Lee, being a Raw competitor, only had eyes for one title from the start. The WWE Championship. At The Royal Rumble the man holding that title was AJ Styles, who had defeated Bobby Lashley for it by cashing in on him at Survivor Series following a brutal clash with "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns. But Styles would not end the Rumble as WWE Champion, as "The All Mighty" would get his revenge, finally winning the title back from AJ in a great match.

The next stop would be the Elimination Chamber PPV, and Bobby Lashley would be forced to defend his championship inside the hellish structure, against former champion AJ Styles, as well as Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Edge, and Sami Zayn. The eternal rivals, Owens and Zayn, would start off and Zayn would eventually be the first eliminated by a Kevin Owens Stunner. Owens later on would get eliminated by Bobby Lashley's Hurt Lock. Rollins would then be eliminated by a small package from Edge, forcing him to flip out and hit the Curb Stomp onto Edge on the exposed steel structure of the Elimination Chamber, which Bobby Lashley would pin Edge off of and eliminate him, leaving him one on one with AJ Styles. The two would have a great mini match as the final two, but in the end Styles would be unable to regain his WWE Championship, and Lashley would make him pass out in The Hurt Lock. At Fastlane, Keith Lee would be forced to go one on one with Seth Rollins under the stipulation that if Rollins won he would join the WWE Championship match at Wrestlemania. This was because Rollins was unable to make a #1 Contendership Match on Raw for the WWE Championship after Edge brutally attacked him and hurt him with a Con-Chair-To. Lingering injury to Seth's neck from that attack would result in him being unable to kick out of Keith Lee's Spirit Bomb, guaranteeing Lee a one on one match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38.

And in the WWE Championship match later in the night at Fastlane, the man who replaced Rollins in the #1 Contendership Match on Raw and got a shocking roll up victory over AJ Styles, Mansoor, would go one on one with Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. The large underdog, Mansoor would put up a great fight against Lashley, nearly beating him in shock nearfalls. But in the end the dominance of Lashley would set in and Mansoor would be ragdolled in The Hurt Lock, and he would be forced to tap out. This would set the stage for the clash at WrestleMania. Two of the largest and yet most athletic men in WWE go face to face in a clash of titans. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley faces the winner of the 2022 Men's Royal Rumble Keith Lee. Can Keith follow up on his Rumble win and make his dreams reality by becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champ on the grandest stage of them all? Or will Bobby Lashley continue his dominance over Monday Night Raw, and retain his championship like he's done so many times before?

Universal Championship

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Big E

The Tribal Chief has been the most dominant force in wrestling for almost two years now, as he's gone through most of the roster at this point, and it seems as no one can solve the puzzle that is Roman Reigns. Upon successfully once again retaining the Universal Championship once again, with this time it being inside Elimination Chamber, he would be confronted by none other than Big E! Someone who has been building a reputation for himself this past year aswell, but has failed to truly break the glass ceiling in his time in the company. This time it's his chance to finally do so, as he's awarded a #1 Contender's match against an old friend of Reigns', with that being Seth Rollins. After a highly competitive contest between the two, it was the former who prevailed and earned his rightful shot as #1 Contender at WrestleMania 38! Will Big E finally win the big one, or will Reigns continue his path as Universal Champion for over 600 days?

SmackDown Women's Championship

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair

After winning the SD Women's Championship back at SummerSlam, Sasha Banks has been the ultimate heel of the division, passing by every individual that has ever got in her way since then. Fast-forwarding to February, Banks has just successfully defended the title at Summerslam. But the Four Horsewomen want those belts too, who shall have them?
