Post Body

Build To Royal Rumble:

WWE SmackDown - December 25th, 2020

Following her third successful defense of the SmackDown Women's Championship, Sasha Banks to make her fourth on SmackDown's Christmas Special, as she defends against Peyton Royce. 5 nights ago, she was able to retain in a grueling triple threat match against both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, but only the former was actually pinned to the mat. Which would result in this match tonight, as the latter looks to prove that she would of won without the addition to Billie Kay.

Both women would put on a stellar match, as they prove to be two of SmackDown's finest on this night, even a new attitude from Royce emerging. As the Champion pointed out a couple of weeks ago, the drive for competition for Royce and Kay is there, and separates both of them. But tonight, the challenger would have the chance to shine under the spotlight, with a clearly fair chance. But the Champion would prove to be the superior talent, after a couple of mishaps by Peyton would lead to the 'Banks Statement' being locked in tight, and a submission victory for Sasha Banks.

Following this excellent match, Sasha Banks would relish in her victory. Knowing it was a hard-fought battle, as Banks would offer a handshake to her opponent, but instead Royce would roll out of the ring in denial. Not letting it discourage her, she would be given her glorious title, as she draped it over her shoulder in victory. But quickly after this, the ovation of the crowd would turn from cheers, to complete boos. As Sasha would turn around to a wonderous superkick... CARMELLA HAS RETURNED! The sensational Carmella has returned for the first time in months, as she sends a statement to the Women's Champion.

WWE SmackDown - January 1st, 2021

As the new year has begun, there are many questions left unanswered, such as what Carmella's intentions are? After laying out Sasha Banks last week, she is ready to explain her actions. The camera would take us to a private room, one that is fancy to say the least. A bottle of champagne would be seen, aswell as a beautiful red dress, worn by the fabulous Carmella. But before she would begin to speak, she would gesture for last week's actions to be played again, in which it would. A well-put superkick would be landed on the tip of Sasha's chin, which would be overshadowed by the obvious laughter from Carmella over the audio.

The camera's view back in present day, a beautiful smile would be seen by Carmella. Before exclaiming that the last time you saw her, she was dancing with an absolute goof, trying to please the fans that she thought had supported her over the years, but that she has been going about it all wrong. She never won a Championship trying to place the WWE Universe, but rather when she blocked out the positivity that they all were accumulating. And something had to change, that is why she attacked Sasha, to send a message, that she was back for the luxurious gold. And when she decides to relieve Banks of her Championship duties, she will know.

WWE SmackDown - January 8th, 2021

Following the shocking return of Carmella, and her claim to the SmackDown Women's Championship, Sasha Banks is set to address what took place two weeks ago. The show would open with 'Skys The Limit' playing over the PA System, the ovation of the crowd as wild as ever, as she would walk out from the back. A sure confident look upon her face, sporting a beautiful blue dress, much like Carmella's, just the inferior color change. Aswell as her title draped over her shoulder, as she would enter the ring, grabbing a mic in the process.

She would begin to speak, proclaiming that she isn't surprised by a sneak attack, much less by Carmella. When she won this title, she knew that it would generate a huge target on her back, and Carmella is an opportunist, she always has been. She needed people to talk about her, put the spotlight back on her, and she did just that. But if she wants her shot, she is going to have to earn it, and upon talking to WWE Official Adam Pearce, Carmella will get that chance, when she goes to battle against Bayley, the IIconics, & the Riott Squad in a Six-Pack Challenge #1 Contendership match.

WWE SmackDown - January 15th, 2021

Whilst Carmella vies for a shot at the Women's Championship, Sasha would be seated at the commentary table to scout out her competition. But as she takes on some of FGP's finest in this Six-Pack Challenge, a lot of pressure is cemented upon her shoulders, as this her first real matchup since her return. However, throughout the duration for his contest, we saw a new attitude be presented, her demeanor clearly changed. Aswell as a new-found intensity presented by Carmella, buy you couldn't count out the 5 other talented women in this match, as they showcased prominence time-and-time again in this contest.

But by the end of it, it was down to Carmella and Billie Kay, one of them trying to continue making a statement directly to Sasha Banks, and the other trying to rectify her loss at TLC. However, in the end a deafening superkick would get the job done, as Carmella would be named #1 Contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble. As the closing bell would sound, Sasha would meet her challenger in the ring, as they would have an intense stare-down to close the segment.

WWE SmackDown - January 22nd, 2021

Following Carmella's victory the previous week, a split screen confrontation would be arranged for Sasha Banks and Carmella. As they would begin, the latter would start us off, wearing another stunning red dress, Carmella would proclaim that this is always how it was supposed to be. All of this was set in motion when Banks defeated Bayley at Summerslam to become the SmackDown Women's Champion, that she watched on for months as 'The Boss' continued to grow as an individual. And waited for the perfect moment to strike, when she was at her most vulnerable. And this Sunday, she will become Champion once again, with the same maneuver that took her out on Christmas Day.

A slight grin by Sasha would be seen, soaking in the words that Carmella just left out in the open. SmackDown's finest would respond with her Championship draped over her shoulder, that Carmella thinks she is so smart. The women that has defeated the likes of Charlotte and Asuka, women that she has unable to successfully knock off. But that she will be damned if she is going to come into her house, knock her down from behind, without any consequences. But at Royal Rumble, she will once again retain her title, proving that she is the superior competitor, and a better woman.

WWE SmackDown - January 29th, 2021

On the Royal Rumble go-home show, the past five weeks for Carmella and Sasha Banks would be meshed together in a video package, showcasing the history of the two. While for the duration of their respective Careers, they haven't had a singles match as of yet. But come this Sunday they get that chance, with the SmackDown Women's Championship on the line. Both of them having many accolades to their name, including the very title they are vying for at the Royal Rumble, but only one of them will be able to walk out with the title of Women's Champion.

Royal Rumble 2021 - January 31st, 2021

Sasha Banks (c) v. Carmella - SmackDown Women's Championship Match

For the past few weeks, a certain story has been presented on Friday nights. After successfully defending her title for the 4th time, this time against Peyton Royce, a shocking return of Carmella would shock the world. As she made her presence known fairly quickly, as she left Sasha Banks laying on the cold canvas after a malicious superkick. Now looking to earn back the SmackDown Women's Championship, Carmella must defeat the woman she has not once faced one-on-one before, as a new environment presents new difficulties. However, she will look to find some positives out of those certain struggles presented on this night.

Carmella would make her entrance first, instead of wearing a beautiful dress, she would wear the same design but instead in an in-ring gear form. As confident as ever, walking down the ramp with a cooly look in her eyes, pointing at the WrestleMania 37 hung up in the arena. Gesturing that she will be walking into the biggest show of the year, once again a Champion. Next up, would be Sasha Banks, as she heads into her 5th title defense thus far, calmly heading down the ramp, a layer of white smoke enveloping behind her. Following this, she would enter the ring, raising her title high up in the air, before the two competitors would retreat to their respective corners.

The opening bell would sound, and these two would engage in a collar-and-elbow tieup, which Carmella would quickly transition into a headlock, but would quickly be shoved off by her opposition into the ropes. But Sasha would be knocked down to the canvas with a shoulder block, Carmella already gloating this early in the bout. Which would end up not being a very smart move, as Banks would sweep the legs of Carmella, sending her down directly to her back. The Women's Champion now boasting on her own, as these two women were now at a stand-still.

Sasha would look to pick up her opposition, which she would do and would follow up by sending Carmella into the corner, she would then run into said corner, striking her with a running double knee strike. Immediately holding onto her ribs, clearly feeling the pain from that maneuver. But would still push forward, as she would hit 'The Boss' with her own knee strike, Sasha's jaw getting the worst of that sequence. Carmella would follow this up with an early cover... 1...2... KICKOUT! The Champion still in this one, but her opposition would continue the offense, specifically with some heavy knee strikes into Sasha's gut, the clear agony that she was feeling would be presented with each cry of pain.

Carmella has proved that their is a new side of her clearly, now heading up to the top rope. AS SHE WOULD SOAR HIGH UP IN THE AIR, FOR A FROG SPLASH! A move that Sasha uses quite frequently, Carmella once again going for the cover, hoping for this to be the last one of the match... 1...2... KICKOUT! Once again the Champion has kicked out, not ready to give up just yet. But for Carmella, she has started to get frustrated, banging on the canvas, not knowing what will put away 'The Boss'. Until she would set her eyes on the corner, slithering to it. Now gesturing for the superkick, the exact maneuver that she took out Banks with all those weeks ago.

Lining her up for it, Sasha would begin to make it to her feet, and Carmella would go for it, BUT NOONE IS HOME! It misses, as Sasha ducks under, looking for a roll-up, the exact move that got her the win over Asuka. 1...2... KICKOUT! Carmella still in this one, but for how long? Both women looking for an opening, as Carmella would go for another superkick, but once again noone home, but instead would be met with a ruthless backbreaker, transitioning into a 'Banks Statement'. It is now locked in, Carmella's arms flailing, looking for the ropes, to cause a ropebreak. But after moments upon moments of struggling, Carmella would seem to no longer be conscious. The appointed official of this matchup would raise the arm of Carmella once, it dropped, twice, dropped once more, thrice... SHES OUT!

Sasha Banks (c) def. Carmella to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship (21:08)

Throughout the tremendous struggle for Carmella at the very end of this contest, she would refuse to give up. But rather passed out instead, due to a technical knockout ending. While Carmella would be helped to the back, Sasha banks would relish in her hard-fought victory. As she was handed her Women's Championship, placing her palm on the beautiful gold. And with the Road to WrestleMania 37 officially beginning, will Banks make it to the big night still on top of the blue brand?

Road To Elimination Chamber:

WWE SmackDown - February 5th, 2021

Following a successful Royal Rumble PPV, that saw not just Sasha Banks successfully retaining her SmackDown Women's championship once again, but aswell the 'Nightmare' Rhea Ripley outlasting 29 others to win the Women's Royal Rumble match. However, tonight would be solely about WWE's next PPV program known as the Elimination Chamber. To begin the program, WWE Official Adam Pearce would already be in the ring, with a microphone already in his hand, as it was advertised that he would be announced something important regarding the February 21st PPV.

Adam would exclaim that in three weeks, Sasha Banks would make her 6th defense of the SmackDown Women's Championship in her most challenging defense thus far, that being against five of SmackDown's finest in an Elimination Chamber match. The titantron would present each one of those names, one-by-one, as the list would follow, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Bayley, and Lacey Evans. These five women will contest inside the Chamber alongside Sasha Banks, for the Women's Championship. Pearce wishes luck to all the following participants, as this could make or break their Career.

WWE SmackDown - February 12th, 2021

One week removed from the jaw-dropping announcement that Sasha Banks will be defending the SmackDown Women's Championship, it would be advertised that a 6-Women Tag Team match would take place, including all of the participants in the chamber match. As Banks would team up with the Riott Squad, as they take on the mismatched trio of Bayley, Lacey Evans, and Carmella. All six of these women will look to exit with some much-needed momentum, with just 9 days left until the Elimination Chamber PPV. Aswell as Sasha Banks having to go task-by-task, this is a vital contest, no doubt.

This contest would turn into a highly contested one, as all six of these talented competitors would go to battle, seeking a victory in the process. While the team of Sasha, Ruby, and Liv worked exceptionally well, their opposition clearly didn't. All trying to prove a point, that they are better than eachother, whether in the squared circle or in a demonic structure such as the Elimination Chamber. Which would lead to a victory for the Champion's team, as Lacey Evans got trapped in the 'Banks Statement' submission hold. And with no other choice but to give up, that is exactly what Evans would decide to do.

WWE SmackDown - February 19th, 2021

On the Elimination Chamber go-home show, a video package would play presenting all six of the competitors competing in this Sunday's SmackDown Women's Championship Elimination Chamber match. Carefully explaining why each individual believes they will walk out of the demonic structure holding one of the top prizes on the blue brand. The package would close with Sasha Banks saying that this is going to be the toughest challenge yet for her, and that she respects all of their abilities respectively, but that she has worked extremely hard to get to this point, and she won't let it slip through her fingers, promising to make it to WrestleMania 37.

Elimination Chamber 2021 - February 21st, 2021

Sasha Banks (c) v. Liv Morgan v. Ruby Riott v. Bayley v. Lacey Evans v. Carmella - SmackDown Women's Championship Elimination Chamber Match

We have now reached our semi-main event of the evening, as Sasha Banks gets ready to defend her SmackDown Women's Championship, this time inside the demonic structure known as the Elimination Chamber. Coming out first, would be the duo of Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, who get their first chance to be under the spotlight in quite sometime. Coming out next would be Lacey Evans, who I'm sure isn't pleased to be in a nasty pod, but is pleased to not have to start this match. The last competitor to enter a pod would be Carmella, who is looking for redemption, more specifically justice. As she didn't technically give up back almost a month ago, at the Royal Rumble PPV.

With all the pods currently filled, that would only leave two to begin this grueling contest. Which would be Sasha Banks and Bayley, where it all began, where this reign started. They would both head to the ring individually, as they were locked in, with absolutely no way out. The opening bell would sound, as these two former best friends would circle the ring, the ovation of the crowd being absolutely mental. They would get started with a collar-and-elbow tieup, as they would seek for an early advantage in this matchup, but the clear strength advantage that Bayley would present, would give her the opportunity to bring Banks right down to the canvas.

Driving the Champion's head into the canvas, proceeding to repeatedly stomp on her wrist, clearly trying to re-injure the wrist. Proceeding to lock in a tightly-locked cross-arm breaker, looking to eliminate the Champion highly early in this matchup. While this was locked in, the count would begin, an anxious look on Bayley's face would emerge, as it would count down from 10. Once it finished, Carmella's pod would open, as she would calmly step out of it. Not trying to enter this match officially too soon, but would have no choice as Bayley let-go of the hold, and tossed her into the ring.

Now continuing the attack, but this time on the unfortunate Carmella, hammering on her skull, looking to damage her early on. But on the other side of things, we would see Sasha grabbing her arm, as it is clearly in an immense amount of pain, aswell as her wrist. Bayley would quickly send Carmella back down with a DDT, heading over to Sasha to focus the attack on her once again. But she would fight back, leaving slight strikes to Bayley's abdomen area, but with not much force behind it, evidently because of the early moments in this match.

But before she could even attempt to continue, the next pod was set to be opened, which would end up being Liv Morgan's. Quickly entering the ring, she would go on the attack, to Bayley specifically. Her fiery temper would help with her unpredictable offense, which Sasha would try to join in on. But still her wrist acting up, she couldn't do so. Which would lead for a distraction, costing Liv Morgan any chance at becoming Women's Champion. Due to banks trying to get involved, Morgan wasn't paying attention to Bayley's struggle, which would lead to a quick 'Bayley-To-Belly'. She would immediately go for the cover... 1...2....3...

Liv Morgan Has Been Eliminated!

With Liv Morgan eliminated quite quickly, there is no longer an advantage for Ruby Riott, but rather evens the odds for the rest of the competitors. The next pod would get ready to open, as it would appear to be Ruby Riott. The second to last to enter in this matchup, just like Morgan, she would come flying into the ring. Maybe not a smart option, since that kind of tactic, lead to an early elimination for her tag team partner. But instead of going after anyone, she would head to where Sasha was, helping her up. While the two of them would be side by side, and just vertical from them, Bayley and Lacey Carmella would do the same. The four competitors going after eachother, in a team scenario.

But while Bayley was taking care of Sasha Banks, Ruby Riott would take the liberties of going after Carmella The two going back-and-forth, trying to look for the second elimination of the match. And Morgan had it in her grasp, with Carmella currently in a fireman's carry position, but unfortunately for her, Carmella would slip out, backing into the corner, where she would gesture for Ruby to make her way to where she was. And she would un-kindly oblige, stealthy nearing her opposition before a low blow was struck. FOLLOWED UP BY A SUPERKICK TO THE JAW! She would quickly go for the cover... 1...2...3...

Ruby Riott Has Been Eliminated!

Progressing in the match, it would be just Bayley, Lacey Evans, Carmella and Sasha Banks left. With the latter being taken out of this match as a whole early on, as Bayley attacked her wrist furiously. However. both Bayley and Lacey Evans would team-up on Banks, an unlikely duo no doubt. With Lacey Evans finally entering the ring aswell, as she was let out of the pod. They would continue the attack, attacking her wrist most specifically. Even at one point landing a Bayley-To-Belly on her, but once Bayley would head for the cover, Lacey would take her off it, not having any of it. From there, Evans would go for a Women's Right, but would quickly dodge it, hitting a thunderous Bayley-To-Belly. She would head for the cover this time... 1...2...3...

Lacey Evans has Been Eliminated!

Just three competitors left in this match, as it was Bayley, Carmella, and Sasha Banks. Once again the two heels would team-up to lessen the offence of Sasha. Her wrist being the main focus once again, but she would try to fight back, standing up even. Carmella would look to end her for once-and-all, thinking of a superkick, but instead SHE WOULD GET BAYLEY! Which would give Sasha the opportunity to hit a crucial backstabber, followed up by locking in a modified 'Banks Statement'. Instead of using her wrist, she would use her heel, stopping on Carmella's hand aswell when it was flailing in the air. With no ropebreak allowed in this match, she would try to escape... but with no other choice she would tap out repeatedly

Carmella Has Been Eliminated!

How poetic is this, the last two in this match, and the first two to begin it, Sasha Banks and Bayley. The history is there, even just on this very night. However, Bayley would immediately look to end this match for good, and her former best friend aswell. With an attempted Bayley-To-Belly, Sasha would be able to roll out of it, landing a clean shot on Bayley's right cheek, looking to infuriate 'The Role Model' And it would work to an extent, as she would connect with a deafening Bayley-To-Belly. Now heading for the cover... 1...2... A REVERSAL BY BANKS, ROLLING BAYLEY TO HER SIDE...1...2...3...

Bayley Has Been Eliminated!

Sasha Banks (c) def. Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Bayley to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship (30:05)

Sasha Banks has done it! She has retained inside the Elimination Chamber against five of SmackDown's very finest. The chamber would be lifted, as an exhausted Sasha Banks would be handed her title, barely conscious. But as she reached her feet, 'Brutality' would begin to play over the PA System, as the Women's Royal Rumble 2021 winner, would head out from the back and onto the the stage, pointing at the WrestleMania 37 sign, clearly stating that she wants Sasha Banks at 'Grandest Stage Of Them All'.

Road To Fastlane:

WWE SmackDown - March 5th, 2021

Following her exhausting title defense on the 21st, Sasha Banks returns to SmackDown after resting for a little over a week or so. 'Skys The Limit' would play throughout the arena, as she would make her way out from the back, her abdomen area taped up, along with the wrist that was targeted for the majority of the matchup. Not looking too pretty, but the important thing is that her title is still draped over her shoulder, as she walks down the ramp, looking less than confident. Now entering the ring, she would grab a mic, looking to explain her experience inside the Chamber as Women's Champion.

She would begin to speak, saying that this was the most challenging task in her Career, but she still came out of it on top, still the SmackDown Women's Champion. But would rather address what happened after the match, rather than what happened during it. The Women's Royal Rumble winner... RHEA RIPLEY! I'm calling you out, you have made your intentions clear, and now in the open, she would give Ripley the chance to put them out in the open.

But instead, Bayley's music would hit, as her voice was already heard. She would begin complaining that she got rolled-up, that it wasn't a fair result. Demanding a rematch, saying that Rhea is ready for the spotlight, isn't ready to be the forefront of the Women's Division or WrestleMania 37. But that she is, she was the SmackDown Women's Champion for an outstanding 10 months, and should not be denied what she deserves, to head into WrestleMania in a big-marquee match.

WWE SmackDown - March 12th, 2021

After demanding a shot at becoming the SmackDown Women's Championship once more the prior week, Bayley has made someone extremely angry. The camera's view would head to the backstage area, about mid-way into the show, where Rhea Ripley would be seen pacing around in her locker-room. Obviously, Ripley was watching last week, and saw what 'The Role Model' Bayley had to say about her and her immense amount of success already, she would take another lap around the room, before beginning to respond.

She would begin with saying that Bayley has no idea who she's messing with, that she has worked her butt off to even get the opportunity to be in the Royal Rumble match. And she ended up winning it all, something Bayley has never been able to accomplish. Agreeing that 'The Role Model' has been the forefront of SmackDown for quite sometime now, but ever since losing that prominent spot, she hasn't been able to rebound. But the words that she spoke last week struck a nerve, so she's going to give Bayley one more chance. On March 21st, Bayley vs Rhea Ripley, if the former wins, she gets her WrestleMania spot.... this to take place at FASTLANE!

WWE SmackDown - March 19th, 2021

On the Fastlane go-home show, Bayley and Rhea Ripley would have a video side-by-side confrontation. Bayley would begin, stating that Rhea is highly over her head, that her emotions have gotten the best of her, and that will lead to her demise this coming Sunday. Promising that she will lose her WrestleMania shot, and will graciously lose to the superior competitor, which is her. Rhea would be up next, just laughing at these remarks, stating that Bayley needs to realize who she's dealing with, a former NXT Champion, the Women's Royal Rumble winner, even going through hell inside WarGames, and still walking out victorious. But she will soon realize how dangerous she is this Sunday, when she remains the #1 Contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Fastlane 2021 - February 21st, 2021

Rhea Ripley v. Bayley - If Rhea Ripley loses, Bayley faces Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37

Before any of the scheduled competitors for the next scheduled matchup would make their way out, 'Skys The Limit' would play over the PA System. Sasha Banks would make her way out from the back, her SmackDown Women's Championship draped over her shoulder, as she would quickly make her way to the commentary table. Clearly scouting her competition for WrestleMania, speaking of that, Bayley would make her entrance first. Confidence written all over her face, as she makes her way inside the squared circle, pointing at the WrestleMania sign in the process. Rhea Ripley would follow, her badass jacket and leather pants would set the scene, as her glossy eyes, would be set on the sign.

Now inside the ring, both of these women in their respective corners, the opening bell would sound. Signaling that this match has officially gotten under way, it would begin with both circling the ring, trying to pinpoint any clear weaknesses for their opposition. Bayley would try her hand at it, as she went after Rhea's legs, looking to pick her up, but Rhea would send Bayley right down to the canvas. Following this, she would dig her knee into the back of Bayley's skull, as it would dig into the canvas, not a very good start for the former SmackDown Women's Champion.

But it would start to look better once, Rhea would miss a leaping knee drop, landing directly on her knee in a clear awkward way, as Bayley would begin to get some actual offense of her own, locking in a vicious headlock, trying to inflict as much pain as she possibly can. Rhea would sense this, and try to escape, getting up to one knee, landing multiple shots to Bayley's gut, she would continuously do this until Bayley would have no other choice but to let go of the hold, but would knock Ripley down once again, with multiple axe handles to Rhea's back, this match starting to go in the favor of 'The Role Model'.

For the first time in this contest, Bayley would head up to the top rope, looking for her old-school elbow possibly, but when she went for it, RHEA RIPLEY WOULD GET OUT OF THE WAY JUST IN TIME! Bayley landing roughly on the back of her elbow, and this is where Rhea would try to put the match back in the palm of her hands. She would pick up Bayley, 'Riptide', but instead Bayley would hit a 'BAYLEY-TO-BELLY! She would quickly go for the cover, not tucking in the leg out of pure confidence. 1...2... KICKOUT! Shortly after, Bayley would go for another one, but would be reversed INTO A RIPTIDE! Going for the cover instantly... 1...2...3...

Rhea Ripley def. Bayley to remain #1 Contender for the SmackDown Women's Championship (17:12)

Watching on from commentary, Sasha Banks would stand up, clapping for the victor. Back in the ring, Rhea Ripley relishes in her victory, raising her hand after a well-earned victory. Meeting her in the ring, would be her opponent at WrestleMania 37, Sasha Banks. Who would raise her belt, while Rhea wouldn't keep her eyes off 'The Boss'. Exiting the ring, Rhea would gesture a Championship belt across her waist, while Sasha would hold up her belt high up in the air once more.

WWE SmackDown - March 26th, 2021

With the SmackDown Women's Championship match for WrestleMania 37 now set in stone, Sasha Banks and Rhea Ripley's first organized face-to-face confrontation is set for next week. But for this week, we would be taken backstage, as Sasha Banks is scheduled for an exclusive interview, specifically about her confirmed WrestleMania match. From the camera's view, you would be able to see 'The Boss' pacing around anxiously, not being able to tell much of what she's feeling, until she would begin to speak.

Sasha would begin to speak about how her WrestleMania opponent is possibly the most unpredictable of the bunch, Rhea Ripley has always been the wildcard, and she continues to be just that. She is no means taking her lightly, but a victory for herself would be something she would be very proud of, and something she desperately wants. And this past Sunday at Fastlane, Ripley proved that she can beat a former Champion in the form of Bayley, but now its her time to prove if she can beat the Woman that defeated Bayley at SummerSlam and inside Hell In A Cell. It is Rhea's time to show up or shut up.

WWE SmackDown - April 2nd, 2021

With 9 days left until WrestleMania 37, it was time for Sasha Banks and Rhea Ripley to come face-to-face. The show would open with 'Brutality' echoing throughout the arena, as it would signal Ripley's entrance, a confident look beaming from her face, as her strut would be just that aswell, entering the ring, pointing once again at the WrestleMania sign. Next up would be Sasha Banks, the current SmackDown Women's Champion, who looked as confident as her opposition, and rightfully so, as she has had one of her best runs in the WWE in these past few months. Both of them grabbing a mic, as they stare a hole into one another.

Rhea would start us off, stating that this is what she has worked her whole life for, to be the very best. And to be recognized as such, winning the Royal Rumble this year was just the start of that, WrestleMania is obviously where everyone wants to be, wants to take a part in. But when she has the chance to become SmackDown Women's Champion on the 'Grandest Stage Of Them All', she has to bring her very best. Sasha agrees, saying that she has faced some of the very best at this event. But has never walked in as the Champion for it, and she plans on walking out of it still with this title draped over her shoulder, so Rhea will have to pry it from her hands, if she truly wants it.

WWE SmackDown - April 9th, 2021

On the WrestleMania 37 go-home show, a beautifully put together video package would be displayed on the titantron, showcasing the journey that both Rhea Ripley and Sasha Banks have taken individually up until this point. With Rhea Ripley tearing it up over on NXT, until her eventual surprise callup, leading to her Royal Rumble victory. And Sasha Banks defeating her former best friend, before going on an extremely dominant run as the SmackDown Women's Champion. But with both extremely talented women looking to come out on top at WrestleMania, who will be the one to do so, walking out with the gold?

WrestleMania 37 Night 1 - April 10th, 2021

Sasha Banks (c) v. Rhea Ripley - SmackDown Women's Championship Match

The highly anticipated SmackDown Women's Championship match has finally arrived, as Sasha Banks defends against a highly focused Rhea Ripley. The latter would make her entrance first, a badass attire, along with the spikes in her jacket, must terrify some people. And that could be her approach here, as she confidently struts to the ring, Rhea Ripley looking to successfully become Women's Champion on only her second WrestleMania. Sasha Banks would be next, a beautiful gold attire, along with her title worn around her waist, for the first time in quite a while. As it shows how much this match truly means to not just her, but to the future of the Women's division.

Now entering the ring, staring at Ripley's spiked jacket, not being feared of it, not impressed by it either. As they would back into their individual corners, and the opening bell would sound. As we get ready for an extremely important match, it would begin with both women circling the ring, Sasha quickly going after the legs, but would be brushed off immediately. But not for long, as Rhea would look to pick up her opposition from the behind, as she looks for a released german suplex, but Banks would reverse, executing a quick rollup... 1...KICKOUT! A quick kickout for the challenger, as the Champion will have to do much more than that to end this contest.

Both on their feet, they would circle the ring once more, before Sasha would look to plant Ripley with a huge knee strike, but instead would be met with a reckless clothesline. Leaving Sasha down on the canvas, hurting badly, obviously that maneuver taking a toll on 'The Boss'. She would continue the attack, as Rhea would strike Sasha with multiple kneestrikes into her left hip, trying to take Sasha's ability of taking deep breaths. And it worked, and her inability to breath heavily, would affect her a great deal. And Rhea would continue the attack because of that, continuing to attack the targeted area.

The onslaught would continue on from here, picking up Banks, looking to send her into the corner, but Sasha would quickly reverse, sending Rhea crashing and burning. She would fall right onto her stomach, the rough surface of the canvas would leave Ripley hurting. Sasha now heading up to the top rope, Ripley now turning over on her back, SASHA BANKS WOULD HIT A FROG SPLASH ONTO HER BACK! She would now head back to the top, NOW HITTING RHEA WITH THE FROG SPLASH AS SHE WOULD NOW BE ON HER STOMACH! She would head for the cover... 1...2... KICKOUT!

Rhea still survives, but from there, Banks would lock-in the 'Banks Statement', Ripley flailing her hands. Looking for any means of escape... so close... almost there... with her hands so close to the mat... SHE WOULD MAKE IT TO THE ROPES! As the referee would have no other choice but to call for the ropebreak, looking to lock it in once more, pulling Ripley back to the center of the ring, but instead Rhea would kick the Champion down to the canvas, landing a huge shot to the jaw. Following this... SHE WOULD EXECUTE A RIPTIDE! She would fall to the cover... 1...2...3...

After over 25 minutes of exhausting competition, Rhea Ripley would prevail, as she would become the SmackDown Women's Champion. As the closing bell would sound, Sasha Banks would grab the Women's Championship, after a couple of minutes. Handing Ripley the title out of mutual respect, as Ripley would take it, and Banks would exit the ring. Ripley would raise her Championship high up in the air, as she has fulfilled her dream.
