On August 23rd, 2020, the wrestling world would be left in utter shock when the former Universal Champion would step inside a WWE ring for the first time since late March of said-year. Slightly soon after, his intentions would be made quite clear, as soon after The Fiend had just successfully won back the aforementioned Champion for a second time, Roman Reigns would bulldoze both Braun Strowman & "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. Now having his eye on regaining the title he believes should have been his come Wrestlemania 37, he would walk into Payback 2020 just a week later with a new found amount of self-confidence, but aswell as a new associate in the form of Paul Heyman. From there, we would see a brand-new attitude from what we must now call, "The Tribal Chief", Roman Reigns. Resulting in a decisive victory from the formerly-known "Big Dog", now returning back to the fore-front of the spotlight that he once was apart of.

Nothing made Roman Reigns more prouder than sharing his success with his family, but they had to prove themselves to be part of his success aswell. And that is what occurred on the September 4th edition of SmackDown, as Jey Uso would get the chance to earn a shot at his Cousin's Universal Championship at the Clash Of Champions PPV. This opportunity would come at the hand's of Sheamus, who earlier in the night would take out his once fierce rival, Big E. Seeing this to be written in stone, "The Tribal Chief" would make sure a member of his family would get the chance to be part of his riches. But at the end of the night, Jey would be able to indeed prove himself, when he pushed through, and secured the victory by defeating Sheamus, King Corbin, & Matt Riddle.

Moving forward, the next few weeks were all about the history between these two, the bond they have made throughout the years. But that would all be tossed out the window come the go-home edition of SmackDown right before Clash Of Champions, while Jey may of thought of this immense battle as some type of family-friendly matchup, Roman thought of it much differently. As he would send a message to his opposition, by laying him out just a couple of nights before their title match on the 27th. Once their meaningful clash would come to the surface, it would be 23 minutes of survival for the challenger, but unluckily for him the Champion would seemingly just be too much to handle. As an illegal low-blow, followed up by a destructive Spear would settle the deal for the successful retention. But this family feud was far from over, as we would come to witness over the following month.

Both Jey Uso & Roman Reigns would end up staying on the same brand after the WWE Draft, meaning they were still destined for another clash. And that's exactly what we would get, as these two would end up being locked inside Hell In A Cell with an added I Quit stipulation added to it. In the opening bout, we would come to see the heart of Jey show through as he battled with his cousin. Jey would try his damndest to take the Universal Championship from Reigns, but it wouldn't come to be, making Jimmy Uso run out to try help his defenseless twin later in the match, but would get caught in a Guillotine by Roman, forcing Jey to Quit in order to save Jimmy. Howver, it was not over yet...

In the wake of his failures, Jey Uso would be met with a proposition by the man who has been making his life hell for the last couple of months. While Roman's way of winning wasn't the cleanest, he did what he had to in order for the family's wealth to grow, he stated while they both were in the ring together, the SmackDown after Hell In A Cell. Back to the proposal, due to Jey's loss, there would be consequences. In order to protect his brother, he must follow Roman's orders for the foreseeable future. If he fails to stick to this promise, Jimmy Uso will be hurt by 'The Tribal Chief'. For the next few weeks, Jey Uso would forcefully have to help Roman anyway he was asked to, even as far as qualifying for the Survivor Series traditional elimination matchup due to Roman's demands. He would end up qualifying against Rey Mysterio, but only due to his Cousin's antics. Going onto the November PPV, his team would end up losing, 4-1. With such a pathetic failure, there was to be consequences coming his way, no doubt.

Build To TLC 2020:

WWE SmackDown - November 27th, 2020

In the fallout of Survivor Series, Jey Uso would not be seen on TV, instead taking the week off as requested by Roman Reigns. Meanwhile with the next WWE PPV rapidly approaching, many questions are left to be answered, such what is next for both of these Cousins? The Universal Champion would quickly put these questions to rest, as he would come out of his locker-room alongside Paul Heyman, to discuss the utter disappointment that he felt last night.

But not just for him, but for the family aswell. Stressing that this will eventually be addressed but for now Jey Uso will take the week to figure out how to make the family proud, how to make up for his major failure. Taking a deep breath, 'The Tribal Chief' ensures the WWE Universe that he has an idea, and it will all come to fruition next week.

WWE SmackDown - December 4th, 2020

With 9 days passing since the Survivor Series PPV, the dust has cleared, but the embarrassment seemingly hasn't. As we all know by now, Jey Uso was unable to lead his team to victory against Team RAW, while Roman Reigns was able to successfully topple Drew Mcintyre in the Main Event. The evening would begin with a thunderous ovation of boos surrounding the arena, the Universal Champion would soak it all in, before gesturing for Jey to make his way out from the curtain.

Trailing behind him, Jey Uso would have a depressed emotion upon his face all the way down the ramp. They would all enter the ring including one Paul Heyman, as Roman would grab a microphone, as we could only assume this is about the idea he alluded to last week. But before he could get a word out, he would be surprisingly interrupted by the current Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits. They would pace around the ring quite antsy, before Montez Ford would begin to speak.

They are both sick of how Roman has been treating SmackDown as his-and-his only. They are the Tag Champions for a reason, and they want to start proving it, but on a greater scale. With TLC quickly approaching, they would challenge Roman & a partner of his choosing a tag-team match at the PPV event. So that they can prove this is their brand, not 'The Tribal Chief's'. Once they finished, Reigns would leave the ring without a word spoken, following behind would be Paul Heyman & Jey Uso aswell, the latter reluctantly however.

WWE SmackDown - December 11th, 2020

On the TLC go-home show, The Street Profits would be in tag action against the dangerous duo of Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode. Whilst Roman Reigns watches from commentary, throughout this match the Smackdown Tag Team Champions looked highly determined, looking in the direction of 'The Tribal Chief' multiple times, looking to send a message possibly. They would bring another level of intensity to the table. In the end, the result would go to the Street Profits after a frog splash. After the match, the two would point at Reigns, gesturing that this was their time, until Jey Uso would join the Universal Champion.

WWE TLC - December 20th, 2020

Street Profits v. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso - Non-Title Match

Following a ruinious loss for Jey Uso three weeks ago, he heads into tonight's PPV with an even bigger chip upon his shoulder. After a night filled with despair, this evening is solely about proving to be worthy of the family name, while he doesn't have much of a choice who he shares the ring with, he will have to work with the man that has made his life a living hell for the past several months. Only time will tell if that will end up being the case...

The Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits would make their way out to the ring first, with the obvious backing of the crowd, aswell as sporting brad new gear for themselves, it looks as they are ready to take back their brand on their own. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso are next, the obvious distain these two have for eachother is clear, but to protect his family, Jey must do as asked.

Once both teams got situated, it would be Jey Uso & Montez Ford who would look to start us off, an interesting dynamic to say the least. Jey assumes early control, while the strength factor would seem not to be an issue, both being on equal field, it would be Ford who would be trapped in an early headlock as we got going here. But he would quickly push his opposition off into the ropes, however Uso would rebound off them, following up by a forearm to the tip of the chin.

Continuing the offense, Jey would continue attacking his opponent, looking to get an early advantage in this matchup. But with one misstep, it would be Montez Ford who had the upperhand, landing a gorgeous dropkick on Uso. He would land directly onto his side, where then Ford would tag-in his partner, Angelo Dawkins. Looking to continue the offense, he would rebound off the ropes, looking for a big splash, but luckily enough for Jey he would get out of the way just in time. He would then proceed to tag in Roman Reigns, who would storm out of the corner, connecting with a huge clothesline.

After such a dominant maneuver, he would pick up Dawkins, sending him into the opposite corner. Looking to tag in Jey Uso, he would quickly go against it and instead begin pounding Angelo in the corner, until he would fall face-first. A slight smirk would arise upon Roman's face, as he taunts Ford, who is on the other side of the ring currently. Angelo Dawkins would struggle to his feet, holding onto Roman's leg, but would quickly be shoved off by said-competitor. As he possibly looks to close this one out, he would head to the corner, lining up for the 'Superman Punch'.

Just moments before he would begin his running-start, Jey Uso would surprisingly tag himself in. Much to the disgust of Roman who would be incredibly frustrated. Then stepping back out on the apron, Dawkins would shove Jey into Reigns, who would come crashing down to the ringside area. And from there, it would go downhill for the former 6x Tag Team Champion, as he would struck with a huge spear by Angelo, who would then tag in Montez Ford. Looking to finish this match off, he would connect with a beautiful frog splash for the victory.

Street Profits def. Roman Reigns & Jey Uso (15:02)

It was a war between these two teams, but the Street Profits have come out on top this evening. Getting too cocky at points, 'The Tribal Chief' was compromised due the irrational thinking of his Cousin, Jey Uso. The furious look upon Roman's face as he sits, leaning on the barricade tells the whole story, and you have to think that with what went down tonight, there will be repercussions coming his way. Once Jey would come to, he would be in a state of shock, realizing what he had caused. The screen would date to black with the image of disappointment upon his face.

Build To Royal Rumble 2020:

WWE SmackDown - December 25th, 2020

Capping off 2020 for the Blue brand, is the TLC aftermath edition of SmackDown. A video package would kick off the show, showcasing what led to the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns & Jey Uso's loss against the Street Profits this past Sunday night. Quickly after the video would come to a close, the camera view would change to the backstage area, specifically Roman's lockerroom. Before entering the room, there would be shouting heard quite clearly, with Reigns' voice being the main focus of this scene.

Now entering the locker-room, it would become quite clear that Reigns was shifting the blame onto Jey Uso for their loss. Which evidently is true, 'The Tribal Chief' would go on to say if his Cousin was ever to disobey him again, there would be real consequences. But to recognize this as a warning, and not to make the same mistake twice. Jey would proceed to nod his head, before being told to get out of Roman's sight by the man himself, and he would oblige just a few moments later without a second thought.

January 2021 In Conclusion:

Moving on from a beautiful Christmas holiday, the month of January was quite uneventful. Whilst Roman Reigns was still on-top of the SmackDown brand, he still had some problems to take care of. With that mostly being due to Jey Uso, who most recently costed him the tag-team match against the Street Profits. But after the first warning to his Cousin on Christmas day, there seemed to not be many other problems on the horizon. Until a returning problem unpleasantly made Roman Reigns' month much more eventful than he would of possibly liked.

On the January 1st edition of SmackDown, Roman Reigns would take to the ring, with his Universal Championship tightly strapped around his waist. Pronouncing that he will be defending his title for the first time since October 25th, this time at the annual Royal Rumble PPV. Once he would finish this proclamation, the theme of the Street Profits would sound throughout the arena, but only Montez Ford would appear as he stepped inside the ring. Staring down the Champion, he would point to the title he holds so proudly, then to Roman's, as the segment would come to a close.

A week later, on January 8th, 2021, would not involve Roman Reigns at all. But rather his advocate in the form of Paul Heyman who would try to have a civil talk with the Universal Championship #1 Contender, Montez Ford. He would go onto tell the aforementioned competitor about how he doesn't know what he's exactly getting himself into, and he should back down from this challenge before it's too late. In response, Ford would land a swift shot upon Paul's right cheek, obviously not ready to back down yet, or ever.

Following Montez Ford's actions last week, a face-to-face confrontation would be announced for in two weeks time between both the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns & his challenger Montez Ford. But before we can get to that, this week the latter would take to the ring with a microphone by his side. He would begin to exclaim on how this is his moment to shine, and he won't be the one to let himself down. While others know what he is capable of, he needs to prove that to himself. Unlike his opponent on the 31st, the eyes will be all on him, it's up to him to keep them solely on him for the foreseeable future.

With two weeks until the annual Royal Rumble PPV, the words of Montez Ford from last week would ring throughout the arena, but for the opposite reasons. As his partner, Angelo Dawkins would get set to take on Roman Reigns on this night, a true test for one half of the Street Profits. During the duration of this matchup, a new intensity would be shown by Dawkins, but even with that being said, Roman Reigns is the 'Tribal Chief' for a reason, and would continue to prove that to be so with a victory in this epic 'Clash Of Champions' battle. After the matchup, Roman would continue the beat-down, before Montez Ford rushed in for the save, sending Reigns out of the ring to close the night.

In the go-home show for the Royal Rumble PPV, the first face-to-face confrontation since January 1st for both Roman Reigns & Montez Ford would take place on this evening. Already in the ring, these two would stare a hole in eachother's souls before even sputing a word. Montez Ford would begin with his argument, repeating what he had said just two weeks ago, about how he needs this victory, to not just prove to himself that he can do this, but to everyone else aswell. But on the other-hand, Roman could care less about all of that, he knows that he runs SmackDown, and that no full-time Tag Team competitor will jeopardize that. Not on his watch, he wishes Ford luck, but he won't need the same.

WWE Royal Rumble - January 31st, 2021

Roman Reigns (c) v. Montez Ford - Universal Championship Match

All it took was a little spark for the feud between champion and challenger to be taken to the next level, and that is exactly what we will see here between Roman Reigns & Montez Ford. With the latter making it abundantly clear that the Universal Championship was a main goal of his for now, it would set the scene for an instant-classic between two of SmackDown's finest. Montez Ford would make his way out from behind the curtain, with smoke trailing behind him. Then followed by 'The Tribal Chief', Roman Reigns who instead of smoke trailing behind him would have Jey Uso & Paul Heyman in it's place.

Now both in the ring, the bell would sound, signaling for this match to begin officially. But throughout the duration of this bout, just like many of Roman's other matches, it would begin a beat-down for the most part. Ford is a quick-and-agile competitor, but the strength advantage possessed by his opposition made for a struggling task for the challenger, no question about it. But no matter how many times he would fall on his back, Ford kept making it back to his feet. Fighting as this was his only chance at the Universal Championship, and it just might be.

The impeccable cardio from both men, was what made this several minute classic worth it. After being utterly destroyed for sometime, the tides would turn when this became a back-and-forth battle just moments later. Even a couple of nail-bitingly close falls to keep the rest on the edge of their seats, but in the end it wouldn't be enough for one-half of the current Smackdown Tag Team Champions, Montez Ford. As in the last few moments of this heated battle, a 'Superman Punch', followed up by a crushing Spear, would crush Ford's dreams in just a matter of seconds.

Roman Reigns (c) def. Montez Ford to retain the Universal Championship (17:37)

Whilst, Montez Ford wasn't able to to defeat 'The Tribal Chief' as predicted, he nevertheless has earned the respect of his peers. Furthermore, Roman Reigns' reign continues to grow, the loss to Street Profits has proved to only be a slight misstep in the current momentum of Reigns, as he looks to continue his Road To WrestleMania 37. As Ford would slide out of the ring, Roman would up his title above his shoulder in pride.

WWE SmackDown - February 5th, 2021

Coming off a very successful night, as the Royal Rumble PPV saw not just Daniel Bryan win the Men's Royal Rumble from the #1 entry slot, but aswell as Roman Reigns successfully defending his Universal Championship for a third time. This time against Montez Ford, now with the next WWE PPV, Elimination Chamber just three weeks away. It was announced earlier on in the day, that Roman Reigns would defend his title for the fourth time against five other men inside the demonic structure.

With that being said, 'The Tribal Chief's' theme would quickly play over the PA System, as the news would beginning spreading like wildfire. Now entering the ring, grabbing a microphone in the process, he would exclaim that he won't be out here for that long. But would rather keep this short & sweet, he has no complaints about being put in such a confinement, as it just gives him more of a chance to spread his message. The message being, that this is his brand, his empire, his island. It is all his, and it always will be as long as he is around.

WWE SmackDown - February 12th, 2021

Adam Pearce would announce that Roman Reigns would defend the Universal Championship inside the Elimination Chamber, but before he could announce the names, Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, & a meek Jey Uso would barge in the room, with Roman demanding to Pearce that Jey be put in the Chamber. Pearce would quickly oblige, scratching a name off his sheet of papers and writing a few words down hurriedly in Roman's presence, before announcing that Roman's opponents in the Chamber would be Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro... and Jey Uso.

WWE SmackDown - February 19th, 2021

On the go-home show for Elimination Chamber, the encounter between all six competitors is hyped up as a video package. As it highlights the dominant run that Roman Reigns has currently been on, but aswell as the history the five challengers have had with not just 'The Tribal Chief' over the years, but against eachother too. With them all having a claim to be the face of the company they all equally cherish, it only leaves them with their thoughts, and their actions coming into this dangerous matchup. The video would end with the last few words being "Only one will walk out the same".

WWE Elimination Chamber - February 21st, 2021

Roman Reigns (c) v. Rey Mysterio v. Jey Uso v. Daniel Bryan v. Shinsuke Nakamura v. Cesaro - Universal Championship Match

As the main event of the night arrives, one of the most demonic structures in the history of the WWE begins to lower. Slowly at that, but once it's fully lowered, each competitor would begin to make their individual entrances. With the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, & Roman Reigns all being locked up in separate pods, while the two starting us off would be Daniel Bryan & Cesaro. Which is always a majestic match, as it should be tonight aswell.

In their past encounters in WWE, Daniel Bryan has always come out on top, but here is Cesaro's chance to change that perspective. The opening bell would sound, as these two began what should be a match of epic proportions. Cesaro assumes early control, using his strength advantage to send Bryan into the closest corner, following up by a swift uppercut. Bryan being taken back, he would use his smart wit to dodge the next uppercut attempt. Reversing the attempt into a quickened kick to the skull of his opposition.

Cesaro this time being taken back, would fall on his rear-behind, squirming into the nearest corner. Now at this time the clock would begin counting down. Meaning the third combatant of this contest would be entering any second now, and it would appear to be Rey Mysterio! Who would burst out of his pod with an extreme amount of energy, as he would connect with a beautiful springboard senton onto Bryan. But before he could get anymore further offense, Cesaro would sprint out of the corner with a huge European uppercut. Followed up by a devastating Neutralizer, a very early elimination.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated!

A quick, but effective elimination for Cesaro. But there would be no break for the weary in the Elimination Chamber, and that would be evident when the first two entrants would go at it once more. Until after several crucial moments, the next entrant would join us, which would be the ever resilient Shinsuke Nakamura. When his pod opened, his stealthy walk would be seen by his tag-team partner Cesaro, who would stare at eachother deeply. In the end they would begin working with eachother, for the time being atleast, to take out Bryan.

But to no avail, as the quick nature of Cesaro would be seen when he would strike Nakamura from behind. A slight mishap for the former IC & US Champion, his blindness would cost him a shot at the Universal Championship. It still is every man for himself, and it would be seen there when a sharpshooter would be executed, and Shinsuke having no other choice but to give up.

Shinsuke Nakamura has been eliminated!

With only four competitors left in this structure, and still two men to be let out of their pods, this is still anyone's game. But as that is said, the 2nd to last pod would be let open, which would reveal to be Jey Uso. Who wouldn't even have this opportunity without Roman demanding it, whether this is a good thing or not is yet to be seen. But he would walk into the face of evil with a face of pleasure, maybe excitement. Right away going for the MVP of this match thus far in the form of Cesaro, who would find himself pleasantly surprised on how agile his opposition seemed to be.

But as they would seem to be going back-and-forth for quite sometime, the countdown would begin. And once the time would expire, it went completely silent. The Universal Champion now entering the ring, noone moving, until he would enter the ring. And once he entered the ring, he would wreak havoc for the next several minutes. Until the heated confrontation between both Cesaro & Roman Reigns would ensue, which would result in the former's elimination by 'The Tribal Chief's' doing.

Cesaro has been eliminated!

Now with three of SmackDown's finest left in the ring, Roman would demand Jey to help him against Bryan. And he would oblige knowing the consequences if he didn't. They would begin to beatdown on the former multi-time World Champion, but once Roman felt the need to finish it off. He would back up into the corner, looking to make the final two between himself & his Cousin. But instead when Roman lined Bryan up, pushing forward, Jey would shockingly roll him up for the upset.

Roman Reigns has been eliminated!

A furious former Champion, would stare a hole into Jey's eyes. But having none of it, he would absolutely demolish his family member, making sure that he would not be able to continue, to win his title. As he would exit the ring, the still respectful Daniel Bryan, instead of pinning Jey right away, would instead lineup for the Running Knee. Which would connect in just a matter of seconds, eliminating the fallen Jey to win the WWE Championship for the 5th time.

Jey Uso has been eliminated!

Daniel Bryan def. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Cesaro, Rey Mysterio, & Shinsuke Nakamura to win the WWE Championship

It's a highway robbery in Tropicana Field as Daniel Bryan has won the WWE Championship due to the sneaky tactics used by Jey Uso. While a retention may have been expected here, it wasn't to be, and the story continues for these two Cousins. You now have to wonder what repercussions Jey will now face due to his actions, not just him but possibly his brother Jimmy aswell. He might of not just costed Roman, but aswell the safety of his loved one here tonight.

Build To Fastlane 2021:

WWE SmackDown - March 5th, 2021

After competing in such a daring structure, both the former Universal Champion, Roman Reigns & Jey Uso would be given the week off. But would return on the March 5th edition of SmackDown, the segment would begin in the ring where Roman was demanding answers from his Cousin, threatening that if he didn't come out this instant, his brother would be hurt. And he wouldn't be able to promise it wouldn't be career-ending. Due to the circumstances, Jey would make his way down the ramp with fear stricken in his eyes.

Now entering the ring with his emotion staying the exact same, staring into blank air, until his eyes would meet Roman's. But in a matter of seconds, Roman would exclaim that due to cheap, and unstable actions there would need to be consequences. Such as the match that he was cooking up, he would say with a furious lookin his eyes, in three weeks at Fastlane he wants to take on Jey Uso, if the latter were to lose, then he would have to join Roman & Paul Heyman. The look from Jey Uso would change from fear to anxiousness with a blink of an eye.

WWE SmackDown - March 12th, 2021

Just a week after issuing the challenge at Fastlane, Roman Reigns would await Jey Uso's response. There would be a scheduled interview just for this topic, during the said interview, Jey would accept the challenge, as he wanted to prove not just to Roman, not just to Paul, but to the whole world that he is noone's puppet. That he can't be jerked around, back at Hell In A Cell he showcased his unwillingness to quit, this time he'll make sure Roman has no choice but to do just that. As the interview would come to a close, Roman would be seen watching on, nodding in approval.

WWE SmackDown - March 19th, 2021

On the go-home show, the history between both Roman Reigns & Jey Uso would be highlighted for the first time since late October. It was shown that in their last encounter, Reigns barely was able to get past Jey without dirty tactics of his own, such as locking in a guillotine choke on Jimmy Uso. With the latter still stuck at home, the active competitor out of the two brothers has to fight alone, as he looks to fight not just for his pride, but his freedom aswell. But if he comes out on the losing side, all of that will be revoked, can he beat the man he has lost to twice prior?

WWE Fastlane - March 21st, 2021

Roman Reigns v. Jey Uso - WWE Championship #1 Contender Match | If Jey Uso loses, he must join 'The Samoan Empire'

The time has come for our main event of the evening, where the stakes couldn't be any higher for one Jey Uso. Making his way to the ring first, would be the aforementioned competitor, who would be sporting a brand new attire. Sporting white tights, with a white & gray vest, topped off with some even lighter pair of boots. Next would be the former Universal Champion, Roman Reigns who has the same attire as always, his eyes not taken off of his opposition, looking for some payback after last month's events.

In their past two encounters, Roman has had the confidence with the title draped over his shoulder. This time that isn't the case, which must beg the question, if that will knock his confidence? The opening bell would now sound, Paul Heyman by his client's side, we would get under way here. Roman would assume control early, shifting to a firm headlock. The pressure is too tight for Jey to escape from, so instead would strike Roman's abdomen area several times, until he would have to let go of the hold.

Furthermore, Jey would look to go for an early superkick, the quicker this match ends, the better for him you would assume. But it would be swiftly blocked by the opposition, as Roman would instead look to lock-in the guillotine choke early on, but he would be blocked this time around. These two now at a stand-still, it was hard to gauge who would get the upperhand. Still trying to figure out their next play, for a few more moments there was complete silence, until a quick sprint by Reigns would be followed up by a a damaging belly-to-belly suplex.

Jey landing directly on his back, displaying an immense amount of pain, a slight smirk would come over Roman's face. Looking to inflict even more damage upon his opponent, he would pick up Jey, sending him into the nearest corner, looking to connect with a running clothesline, but instead would find an empty corner. Jey getting out of the way just in time, he would strike Roman with multiple chops until his chest would become bright red, displaying the power behind these chops.

But that would not be enough, not in the slightest as he would return to his feet just a couple of moments later, tackling his opponent to the canvas, strike-after-strike to the skull. Not soon after a cut would open on Jey's forehead, blood dripping down close to his left eye. The pain that he was in, is unimaginable, but this was the price to pay after him costing Roman his title.

The blood would blind him, and as the smart competitor that Reigns is, he would execute a painful superman punch. Some of Jey's bright red blood now on his Cousin's fist, he would proceed to wipe it on his chest before lining up for the spear. But when he went for it, he was struck with a superkick, rebounding off the ropes however, would lock-in the guillotine choke. And with no other choice but to give-up, unlike at Hell In A Cell, he would give up with his palm landing on the canvas several times.

Roman Reigns def. Jey Uso to become the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship (20:00)

Despite his best efforts, Jey Uso would be unable to come out on top here tonight. And in return, must join Roman Reigns & Paul Heyman, while the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship has been made official for WrestleMania 37. After having his hand raised, Roman would pick up Jey, giving him a warming hug. He would help him out of the ring, but would be pushed off, and instead walked off on his own to the back.

WWE SmackDown - March 26th, 2021

With WrestleMania 37 just two weeks away, the biggest event of the calendar year is quickly approaching. With that being said, last night Roman Reigns became the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship, when he toppled one Jey Uso. Aswell as that, officially made the latter join him alongside Paul Heyman. Furthermore, tonight would begin with the trio in Roman's private locker-room. Discussing the future not just for himself, but for them as a group aswell.

Roman would exclaim on how this is Jey's future, not just his. And he will quickly understand that, once Mania is over with. Last night was only the start, but come WrestleMania 'The Tribal Chief' will be back on top once he's done with Daniel Bryan, who should've never won at Elimination Chamber. Blaming Jey Uso for all of this, he wants him to still remember that he forgives him, but he must listen to him order to survive. To never disobey again or there will be consequences.

WWE SmackDown - April 2nd, 2021

This week would be much different, less fear would be seen in Jey Uso's eyes, as they took to the ring once more. Roman Reigns gets his rematch a week from this Sunday, confidence glistening from his strut, as he enters the ring with a microphone by his side already. Both of his most trusted individuals standing by each side of him, as he would begin speaking on how much April 11th means to him, aswell as his family.

But before he can go too much in-depth about it, Jey would politely ask for the microphone. The former Universal Champion would oblige. With a smirk upon his face, he would in a slightly aggressive tone, speak about how overtime he couldn't stand how Roman has changed. He felt betrayed by his family, but he now realizes that this is what he had to do to provide for this family, and he will continue to provide once Daniel Bryan is knocked out of the equation on the 11th of April.

WWE SmackDown - April 9th, 2021

On the go-home show, there would be a replay shown from Fastlane 2015. This was the last time, both Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns met one-on-one, but this Sunday they will meet once again, this time for the WWE Championship of all things. After the replay had finished, it would cut off to a beatdown by Roman Reigns to his challenger this Sunday, Daniel Bryan. Trying to make sure the latter wouldn't be 100 percent come the big night, I would say mission accomplished.

WrestleMania 37 Night 2 - April 11th, 2021

Daniel Bryan (c) v. Roman Reigns - Universal Championship Match

In the wake of the events that surrounded the past 2 months, it is important to remember how we got here. Roman Reigns' ultimate goal was always to enter WrestleMania 37 as the defending Universal Champion, but that isn't how it came to be. That's due to Jey Uso, who costed his Cousin a chance to accomplish that goal, but now here at WWE's biggest annual event, he enters this epic clash as the challenger, alongside Jey Uso & Paul Heyman.

We would look to get under way with the challenger, Roman Reigns entering the arena first. Sporting his usual attire, with one minor detail. A small spot of blood, displaying his war with Jey Uso the month prior, as he entered the ring with malicious intent all over his grubby face. Next was the current WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, who would be sporting a beautiful green & grey attire, as the last face-to-face confrontation between these two before the opening bell would be zoomed in on by the camera.

We would begin with Bryan shooting out of the corner, striking his challenger with a gorgeous dropkick to start us off, a stunned Roman would roll out of the ring. A bit shaken by what just occurred, he would roll out of the ring for some resistance. But unsurprisingly, Daniel Bryan would follow him, entering the ring once more, he would bait Bryan back into the ring, stomping on his spine numerous times.

The pain in his back would be displayed quite clearly, Roman could see this aswell. And would continue to pick apart his opponent, a confident competitor he is, he would begin to gloat. But to his surprise, it would backfire as he would be taken down with a quickfire dropkick to the back, sending him into the nearest corner. Following this, Bryan would hit multiple of his well-known dropkicks, stunning Roman for the time being. As the latter would once again would roll out of the ring, but this time would be met with a daring suicide dive.

Lifting up Roman, he would send him back in the ring. Going for the pinfall, 1..2.. KICK OUT BY ROMAN! Still kicking, Reigns would make it to his feet, looking for a major clothesline but instead the assigned official of this match would get the most of it. Now with the referee down, roman would gesture for Jey to enter the ring, which he would be happy to oblige. Looking at his surroundings, he would look at Roman, then Bryan, before striking Daniel with a superkick, which Roman would follow with a soul-crushing Spear. Jey would proceed to wake up the referee, as he would get the three count.
