I'm really liking TEW 2020's products: there is something for everyone, depending on what kind of angles and matches a player wants to book. However, I'm having trouble finding real world equivalents to some of the more "out there" products, something I'm doing because I use those real world companies as guidelines for how to do things in the CornellVerse - as a n00b, I kind of need that.

Now, the single player save I'm running is a Lucharesu one, something for which there are plenty of sources I could mine for angle ideas for example, but I'm about to start a save alongside a few people from this subreddit, and I wanted to give Episodic Sport a try because, even though the focus is on technical wrestling, something that gives me some heavy hints about what kind of people should I hire, it's got enough of a focus on angles and storylines that would allow me to build heat behind some of my more charismatic wrestlers, and for the promotion as a whole.

Except, not even the product search function has turned out much (if at all) about real world Episodic Sport promotions - World of Sports came close, but it's listed as Pseudo Sport. There are other products that don't seem do have any real world equivalents, such as Bar Room Entertainment and Deathmatch (going by the search function, it looks like not even ECW comes close to that).

Also, there are some notable absences from the product search function, such as basically all the Japanese joshi promotions and those clinical psychopaths behind Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling, who might as well be the closest thing there was to what the game deems Deathmatch.

If it isn't, I don't even want to know what, in the mind of the developers, qualifies as that, or what obscure, shady corners of the internet they hang out in. :P
