Coming up to my January new year's giant series where I run a million yen battle Royal and the winner challenges for the Triple Crown at the end of the month, right now I have 4 legitimate options that I'm struggling to pick between,

A. Akira Taue, the now leader of Tsuruta-Gun after sending Jumbo away for a year to maintain realism since he contracts Hepitaitus around this time (c I believe ) so yeah, Taue as of right now is the leader of the biggest threat to Super Generation Army

B. Gary Albright, I signed him at the beginning if the save in September, since then he has gone unbeaten in singles and tag action, he's arguably got the most momentum in the company outside of Misawa now being at around 16 or 17-0, Misawa would be his first loss in the company which would make a lot of sense from a story perspective as Albright has yet to face any big names in single competition outside of some of the veterans on the roster (Rusher Kimura, Mitsuo Momota, Mighty Inoue etc.) so having him try to come up to the main event level to get slapped down by the ace makes sense

C. Stan Hansen, arguably my biggest name now that Jumbo has gone for a year, him versus Misawa would slap so hard along with the fact that Misawa won the title from Hansen, as far as best match goes this is probably the best option but it's arguably the worst story option

D. Terry Gordy, (could fit Steve Williams here for the same reasons) in the real world tag league, Miracle Violence Connection beat Kobashi & Kikuchi in the final after Kawada was unable to complete the tournament after suffering a torn pectoral muscle, it was against MVC that Kawada picked up the injury so it could easily be spun as Misawa looking to avenge his fallen partner who will be out for most of this tour maybe even all of it but will be back for the Excite Series next month whilst it could also be built as Gordy (or Doc) trying to injure the other and pick up all the titles in AJPW
