I'm interested in how authors within the genre view each other. Here's some of what I know:
Robert Jordan wasn't crazy about Terry Goodkind
George R.R. Martin doesn't like Harry Potter
Le Guin didn't think Rowling was particularly creative
Rothfuss only read the first two books of the Wheel of Time
Terry Goodkind doesn't think he writes fantasy
