I'm in the mood for some military fantasy, so I thought I'd look at some independent novels. I'm not particularly fussy on setting or period - steampunk, flintlock, high, low, I don't mind - but I do prefer authors who have either done a good deal of research into their chosen period, or who have taken the fantastical elements of their world to clever and logical conclusions.
So, who are some good indie authors writing military fantasy? Authors, feel free to recommend your own books. I'll write a review of any book I read.
