Why does it seem like my posts aren't getting traction on the fyp?

I always make sure that for unpaid following/subbed content that I add some kind of preview to get it promoted to the fyp with the hashtag. When I first started posting it was kinda good but now no one likes my posts or even follows/subs to my account. It'll say the post is promoted but there wouldn't be any views on my posts or stories. Is there some kind of algorithm change or something? I usually schedule my posts early in the morning since it's worked in the past. I only go here bc I have a new reddit account and I don't have enough points for the "official" advice subreddit.
