Custom video advice re:payment

I recently had a follower request a custom. I created the video (10 minutes) and uploaded it within a few hours. This was on Sunday and so far he hasn't paid for it. My question is what do you do in this instance? Message again with a reminder that it's ready to view? Do any of you require down payments in the form of tips before you agree to film?
