Hey! I have semi-dry (not too bad, it's all good for dyeing) medium length light brown hair with two shaved patches that go partially around my ears.

I'm about to attempt a black to blue ombre at home using a revlon blue black box dye, kalaidecolors bleach with 30 vol developer (I've had success with this brand in the past), and an ion blue dye.

I've dyed my own hair numerous times before but it's been a good year since any unnatural colors were used so I'm turning to you guys because you all are the masters.

My question is in regards to what order I should put on the black dye and the bleach.

Obviously the blue goes on last, but should I bleach the ends, then do my roots, or do my roots then bleach the ends? I'm leaning towards bleach first but I'm not entirely sure this is the right move. Advice?
