So we've all been wondering why the NYC in Morbius contains elements from the 3 Spiderman movie series (The Oscorp building, the weird Spiderman "murderer" poster but it's the Garfield Spiderman costume, and a host of other things in the latest Morbius trailer). At the conclusion of NWH, Strange will attempt to fix his mistake and instead of returning all of the guest villains to their respective timelines, he will accidentally combine the universes. After this collapse, Peter will cease to exist in the main MCU timeline which will cause Doctor Strange to go look for him in the multiverse as the catalyst of the events for Multiverse of Madness.

TL;DR - Morbius takes place after NWH because Doc Strange makes things worse at the end of NWH and creates the odd NYC in Morbius. It'll be a combination of the 3 timelines where Spiderman is just a movie played by Andrew Garfield because fuck it, why not.
