Chappelle's Show:The World Series of Dice robbery was an inside job by Grits n' Gravy

The sketch in question.

So this is a very niche theory but it's been sitting in the back of my head and really bothering me for some stupid reason so I'd like to share it here:

Grits n' Gravy is most famous in the dice community for rolling a 7 on a dice roll 77 times in a row at a Las Vegas casino and becoming a millionaire. Now I don't know much about dice and I'm terrible at math but doesn't that seem unbelievably lucky? Like, too lucky to be believed? I think the more likely scenario is that Grits n' Gravy is a expert dice hustler and can make the dice roll on whatever number he pleases.

After Ashy Larry craps out on his first roll Grits n' Gravy proceeds to roll a 7 on his next 3 rolls(how surprising /s) and win the next 3 games. For the next game, Grits n' Gravy decides to go all-in and Leonard Washington and Phyuck Yiu match the bet. Grits "unfortunately" rolls a 2 and gets eliminated from the game losing all his money. After Grits leaves Rodney "Quills" Dinkins and his crew roll up and rob the game.

Like the announcer says, the robbery takes place "almost on cue" the moment Grits n' Gravy exits the room. Is Grits lucky or what? Again, I think he's a little bit too lucky. My theory is that Grits gave Quills the time and place of the World Series of Dice. He felt perfectly comfortable betting all his money because he knew he would get it back and then some. When he got bored of playing he threw the game and got disqualified on purpose by rolling 2. When he got out of the room that was the signal for Quills and his crew to bust in and rob the place.

Now you might be asking why Grits would be interested in helping set up a robbery when he could more easily "take everybody money" by winning the World Series of Dice? For one, the money he'd get from the dice game would just be limited to the competitors and maybe a winning purse. With the robbery he could get the money off of the spectators and TV crew along with stealing their expensive filming equipment and even the cars of people who didn't shove them up their ass like Bill Burr. It's also mentioned that Grits n' Gravy is a PCP addict. Maybe Quills is his dealer and Grits set the robbery up to cover a drug debt. Maybe Grits was broke and Quills and his crew lent him the money to enter the game and Grits decided the robbery would be more profitable for everyone involved. As to why Grits didn't stick around and personally take part in the robbery: maybe he doesn't want to get in legal trouble. Maybe he really did have babies to kiss and bitches to catch.

Grits n' Gravy even hints at his dastardly deed with his parting words to the crowd: "when I leave come together like butt cheeks." What do butt cheeks do during times of extreme stress like being robbed or seeing Leonard Washington get shot in the leg? They clench.

Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
