So we never see what’s in the briefcase in PulpFiction, just that is shines and has some high value to Marsellus Wallace. But what if the Lincoln Letter in The Hateful Eight is what is actually in the briefcase. It’s been passed down through the years, from family member to family member and has not been verified as authentic so everyone’s just held it in high regard. Now Marsellus has it, doesn’t know it’s real value, so he makes sure to keep it safe.
