Post Body

Hi there fellow writers! I’m trying to decide how the next part of my WIP should go. Quick summary A(F) and B(M) meet, are drawn to each other and have a one night stand. Circumstances throw them together and they form a close friendship (B hasn’t had many strong friendships in the past and is dealing with a lot of personal angst). They end up sharing a traumatic experience and B goes on to discover that their attraction and feelings towards each other are a pre-destined thing. Their intimate relationship is rekindled, but A doesn’t know about their shared destiny.

The question is this- I am thinking that when she finds out she should have some doubt about their relationship- does she really feel the way she feels because she loves B, or is the pre-destiny thing ‘making’ her feel this way, BUT should I let them enjoy some more happy together time before throwing in the angst spanner or throw it straight in during ‘the morning after the night before’? Additionally B is not a normal human- he is stronger and will live longer than A, do I throw in some angst around that, or will that be too much? I am new to writing Fanfic, (And I know the story line for this is tropey as hell, but, meh!) and I’ve reached a bit of a block on this bit. I do have some betas, but I like to have a full 1st draft before I send to them. Thanks for any suggestions any of you are willing to share.
