Hi! David here!
Okay, so for context, I created this pseudonym to be able to write fics about my kinks. I've written for MHA, Pokemon, Dreamworks, and Marvel, though not everything I've written is published yet.
I'm getting off track. So I mostly post to DeviantArt because there's a bigger audience for the stuff I write over there. About a year ago, I did a test to see if there was an audience on AO3. I crossposted the two published chapters of my first wip over there to see if it would gain any traction. Spoiler alert: It really didn't. So I kinda forgot I even had it over there and went back to life as usual on DeviantArt. In the time since, I've held off on writing chapter 3 of that story due to insane writers' block. Fast forward to earlier this week, and lo and behold, I get an email saying there's a comment on AO3. (And I'll play around with a few names here to keep the post nonspecific, I guess.)
Dang, was sad to see that this story's seemingly been dropped. Came across it a few minutes ago and I ran through it.
While I have no strong feelings about the (kink op has) one way or the other, I'm just here to see this romance get followed through on. If you ever decide to get around to continuing this fic, you'd have a reader looking forward to it! As far as feedback goes, I enjoy how you write the characters. Very honest about their flaws, but very charming in how they carry themselves and interact with one another. (Character A) and (Character B), especially. Hope to see this finished one day! Regardless, hope you get to read this and know your work is appreciated. Cheers.

Okay, so I am honored to get a comment like this. Most of the readers on DA just favorite the story and give you a watch to show they like you. It's been a long, long time since I got a positive review - or a review of any kind, for that matter. But on the other hand, it puts me in a bit of a tricky situation.
See, in those two chapters, the first had a single scene of the kink being utilized and a couple paragraphs of talking about it happening. The second had absolutely nothing kink-wise show up. I intended the third to have more talking about it, with some more actual fun happening in the fifth or sixth chapter. I wanted to ramp up the size stuff the further we got along. Now I'm unsure of how much is too much in the story. I know that the author's preference trumps all, but I don't want to let down fans, you know? Especially when positive feedback is such a rare blessing for me. I remember writing a one-shot that was pure OOC fetishy stuff, nothing else. I intended that as a throwaway story while I figured out what I wanted to do with my real plot, but I'm pretty sure that one dwarfed the serious story in likes and views by a huge margin. I also recently published a romance oneshot that was over 10k words and had the best mix of kink and serious story in it; and that one didn't get a ton of traction either. I guess that's just the way of things.
I don't really know where I was going with this. Just wanted to shout to the void, I suppose. Thanks for reading to the end. In case I don't see ya: Good afternoon, good evening, and good night.
