F/F vs. M/M ? Thoughts

Post Body
I write primarily M/M pairings and the ships also happen to be popular ones in my fandom so I’m used to receiving a fair amount of engagement. But I’ve seen a terrible lack in F/F pairings and decided to write my own. I can already tell that it will take more time to pick up vs. my other fics.
Authors that write wlw more often, how do you feel about this lopsidedness or does it depend on fandom/pairing? Have you noticed anything like what im talking about?
