My wife and I have bad arguments where it usually ends with her gaslighting me to an adhd meltdown. That's were you become so overwhelmed and discouraged that you yell, cry, scream, excessive cussing, laugh, throw things and basically have a big temper tantrum. She knows exactly what to say or do to get this response from me. She then starts recording. These meltdowns are mostly impulsive and only last about 5 mins. After words always feel remorseful and apologize. I should mention I just got diagnosed with adhd in April so still adjusting meds. Anyhow their has never in 12 years been any violence or anything illegal just arguments some leading to the meltdowns. After an argument she put a protection order on me against her and my 4 kids. She no showed that and it was dismissed...same day it was dismissed she put another one on me just her this time. During this time I found out she has had a boyfriend for over a year and met him back during covid and have been on again off again. So it all started to make sense. 90% of our fights were because of lack of relationship. We finally had court and she had the audio of me having a few meltdowns not dated nothing leading up to obviously, also had some text messages that were screen shots. I thought the texts had to show number dates and times. She also had screen shots of photos no time no date. There were also no cell phones to be used in court and she let her read off of hers. The order was upheld for 1 year. I don't care about talking to her as much as I Care about being able to go home. It's been 2 months I've been displaced. I was the stay at home parent. She stopped paying the car payment during all this and it got repoed, she lost her job, she lied to me about paying rent since March so know we are getting evicted. She also has pmdd it's a hormonal imbalance that literally makes her crazy mean and paranoid. Since she isn't working she is selling our snap benefits for cash and rides bc she has no license. She also is buying cake mixes and making little cakes and selling them. I'm in Ohio. She had no proof of anything except my meltdowns. Any and all advice welcome. Should i appeal? Is it worth it and on what grounds? Sorry for the book it's alot
