I have 50/50 legal and physical custody of my two kids. Their mom makes much less than I do, only works part time at Min wage. She has support from her boyfriend and her parents. My ex wife has verbally agreed to go to the courthouse and cancel the child support of 290 per week that I pay her currently.
I will always make sure my kids have what they need and have a nice home where they each will always have a room.
How can I phrase the terminology of the modification to say explain this? There have been no dramatic changers. Their mother and I are getting along and she has agreed to get me off the child support. How can I properly phrase this? What can I argue to the judge if she tells me that it’s not fair or equitable because of the disparity in wage gap?
