Hi, someone close to me is suffering badly due to her father being in the hospital - its not looking good. I am really not a man for words and usually don't have much to say to anybody. I am very sad and want to do something for this person but not much I can do physically since she is in a different country. She has told me that he won't pull through but don't have any details of the condition but I have asked - he is in his late 80's..
I am still planning on checking in on her to make sure that she is ok - what sort of things should I say in my messages? Is it appropriate to say, "to make sure she looks after herself", "Except the worst but hope for the best", - or should I just be keep asking daily (how is she keeping!)?
Sorry if this is a silly question but a real problem I have and need to make sure that she is ok and if my support is just keeping touch base with her by emails (all I can do!) then just want to know what one does in this situation
