I'm trying to figure out how I can make a mod weapon use ammo from a different mod, specifically make it so that the Fusillade Grenade Launcher mod and China Lake Grenade Launcher/Holorifle mod use the same 40mm ammo from the M79 Grenade Launcher - Standalone mod. I tried testing out FO4Edit by making the m79 mod a master to the china lake mod and editing the DNAM for the china lake so that the default ammo for it was the 40mm rounds from the m79. I went ingame and the weapon still used it's own proprietary ammo.
Is there anything I missed in FO4Edit or is this something I'd have to try in the CK to get working? Does the fact that Fusillade and the China Lake mods can also use modified ammo (incendiary, MIRV, basically special custom ammo) conflict with being able to make them take another mod's ammo?
