Hello and happy new year Overseers!

I've bought a source book and starter set for Fallout 2d20 recently and I am planning to run a game myself. TBH I'm a player, I'm into the hobby for many years now but I've never GMed the game myself and I'd love to change it because of Fallout universe. I just started to prepare myself for our first game ever and I was just wondering - do you think it is a good idea to set the game inside the vault for some time? Like the players were born inside the vault and they have no idea what it's like to live outside of it? Are there any scenarios I can find on the internet to get some inspiration for the story? Or would you highly recommend not to run a game like this, for some reason? I know there is an adventure in starter set and main sourcebook but I have just started reading them. And as far as I know, they're focused on adventuring in the wasteland. Cheers :)

The only problem I could see with starting out like this would be limiting the character creation process. Unless you can find a way to allow someone to turn into a ghoul or super mutant. Or unless everyone is cool with just being a vault dweller. In my game Iā€™m running, everyone is a different race and it has been a blast watching them all interact with each-other. Maybe checkout this video when they start playing and see if you can draw any inspiration for a start? Good luck! rad rolls video
