Why did I not like fallout 4?

I can’t figure it out, I’ve played upwards of 60 hrs of Fo4 and I just don’t get it, it seems plain and I’m just a bit lost to what everyone sees in it. Fo3 and NV are by far my favourite games of all time especially Fo3 but Fo4 just seems soulless. What gives? What do you like about Fo4?
