I've been a big Fallout fan from the first time I used a CD-Rom to install the original on my parents Pentium computer. When Fallout 3 came out and every NPC had a voice I was blown away, and I had no way to predict how much that would help me in my daily life.
I work for a medical billing office and one of the procedures my department handles regularly is lung cancer screenings. When a patient doesn't have insurance or has limited insurance they are often left with very confusing bills so they call us to get a grasp on what they owe and why. I've become the go-to guy for lung patients because I can understand them perfectly despite their incredibly raspy and pained voices. If it weren't for the countless hours I spent talking to Ghouls around the wasteland I would be just as lost as all of my colleagues.
So thanks Fallout, for making me a more useful component of my team than I would be otherwise!
And as for the rest of you, good luck out there in the wastes Smooth Skins!
