I modded Fallout 3 today after meaning to for months, and it looks great... up close. But in larger areas, I end up with a horrifying LOD/object draw distance like this. There should be cars and junk on the end of that broken bridge, but instead it's a flat texture. And those hills should have more rocks all over them. Nada.
I've tried nearly everything. I changed the .ini settings (stuff like uGridsToDraw getting set to 9 instead of 5), changed the in-game settings, looked for mods, and nothing has helped. If stuff was popping in further away, I could ignore it, but this stuff if popping in 200 feet away from me, and it's infuriating. Does anyone know a solution for this? Help me /r/fallout, you're my only hope.
Edit: So I did some more poking around, and it seems that almost everything in the Fallout_prefs.ini is set to 0. I changed it according to a tweaks guide, and nothing changed.
I should also mention that I'm using Mod Organizer, so maybe that is screwing something up with the .ini files and game settings?
