So here's something I literally just thought of that's basically taken up all available brain space that doesn't relate to the functions of breathing and peeing:

Radio is so prevalent in the Fallout series. We have people like Three Dog, Travis Miles, and the absolute GOAT Mr. New Vegas (I will not hear any blasphemy at this time. Also, we do not discuss Julie). We have the awesome tales of Herbert "Daring" Dashwood which - true fact - got me to start listening to vintage radio dramas like "The Adventures of Sam Spade" and "Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar." And - also true fact - the second mod I ever downloaded for FO4 was an additional radio station. (The first was a mod to add in a left boxing glove because boxing is my sport and WHO TF RUNS AROUND WITH JUST ONE GLOVE ON??)

But can someone tell me in the 219 years since the bombs dropped why the hell TELEVISION isn't back in the world yet? Obviously the timeline divergence didn't stop TV from appearing pre-war. Nate and Nora saw the special bulletin on October 23, and there were studios filming the adventures of both The Silver Shroud and Captain Cosmos which let's face it was really the Jangles the Moon Monkey show YOU CANNOT CHANGE MY HEADCANON so the technology - or at least the framework - to make TV programs is there. And in FO on Prime Lucy watches a holotape that has a video feed while The Ghoul is watching TV in the Super Duper Mart with the yellow vial stockpile.

So why is it we've yet to see TV in the games? Do you think this might actually be addressed in FO5? Maybe Ghoul TV: All Cooper Howard movies, all the time? Or is there a random terminal out there I missed with the lore-correct answer?
