To me that would be the most interesting location for a Fallout game. And don’t think it would all be a tropical paradise, Oahu could have taken a direct hit from a nuke, it could be like a combination of DC and the Glowing Sea. Maybe some islands have horrible experiments that went out of control, other islands could be an actual paradise but are controlled by some ultra wealthy pre war family who shoots on sight (it’s a known spot where the ultra wealthy like to go hide, which could leave room for things like the Vault-Tec Ceo’s mansion/island etc.). The island system could be really interesting too, lots of room for some very diverse locations from jungle to desert to snow. Some potential DLC could be the other American owned islands in the area.
