Join Party Error, Please Help

Anyone else having consistent party join / party create errors? I made an account for my gf on my switch so that we can play together. She is able to join a reg game fine, but it pops up with an error any time she tries to join or create a party. I've rebooted the game, redownloaded the game, recreated her account solely through the switch, created an account through the epic games store and connected it to her switch account, but there has been no change to the errors.
