My wife, kids (8&10), mother and myself are visiting in a couple weeks. Flying into anchorage and driving up for 4 nights. Really want to experience Fairbanks as the town it is, and we're hoping to witness the aurora. I've read the pinned posts, but I'd like to see what everyone recommends as "must see/do/eat" things by the committee of this subreddit. Also, what are my odds of seeing the aurora at the early bookend of the "aurora season"? Thanks everyone, and I hope to be as minimal a nuisance when we are there!
