Hi! I have hetero FVL. Im currently pregnant and low risk enough for a blood clot that the doctors do not have me on anything preventative for it.

I would love to get a "mommy makeover" surgery done after my pregnancy. This can include things like liposuction in various places, a tummy tuck, other skin removal, fat transfers, breast lift/augmentation, etc.

A quick google search tells me everything from "people with FVL have an unacceptably high risk of blood clots from cosmetic surgery" to "the risk with FVL is minimal as long as precautions are taken, and youll be fine if you have cosmetic surgery".

Has anyone here gotten similar cosmetic procedures done? What went into weighing the risk vs benefit for you? What was your recovery like? What input did your doctor(s) and surgeon(s) have about your situation?
