I've seen a lot of infighting on some of the boards regarding the "true Marxist" position of the war in Syria. People seem to present good arguments for both sides and honestly I'm finding it difficult to find an unbiased summation of what's going on. Is there someone who can ELI5 (or more in depth) what is happening and why this infighting is occurring?
I could ask this in 101 or something, but honestly I find more clear headed response here or in the jerk
