Like Geoff I gravely misunderstood the time parameters of Andrew's year of redemption and thought it ended on December 31st, 2021. In my ignorance I made a bet with a fellow comment leaver that Andrew would eat a pencil by the end of the year.

Andrew. Please heed my call. I know eating a pencil could be a grand finale of sorts but would you please move it up a few months? You still have the sewing machine. You still have the marathon. You still have beef with both burgers and the Denver Nuggets.

This bet has grown bigger than you. Two additional people are now facing pencil eating, and the choice is yours. Either someone who's always believed in you and the content of your character, or someone who's doubted your moral fortitude from the start.

Please Andrew. For the both of us. Eat the pencil.
