Side note to begins with: I have a couple of different Reddit profiles for privacy reasons, so this post is not specific to this profile.

Okay onto my post: Whenever I make a post in a non-LGBTQ specific subreddit and I happen to mention my gender identity, my posts get downvoted a lot.

At first, I used to think it was because I was posting about unpopular topics, but I am starting to think that’s not it. I’m starting to think that the moment a person sees that the post is by a trans person that they down vote it.

I don’t like to think that people really don’t like trans people, but I’m starting to think that’s the case.

I mean, maybe I truly do post shitty stuff. That could be the case, but it’s so many of my posts.

Does anyone else experience this?
