Via a text message because this was not the conversation I wanted to have face to face.

They are old-fashioned, conservative and religious. Also, they already now I am trans, and surprise surprise, they are not supportive.

Somehow telling about the name change was the most difficult step for me to take. Even more difficult than spilling the original T, that is, saying the T-word for the first time.

They have not answered to my text. I guess I'll just need to wait.

But it's done and I'm still alive and somewhat okay.
