tw: mentions of addiction, possible dysphoria

i (18) have been wanting to get healthy for a long time as my mental health has been in the gutter after battling with addiction. i know a good place to start is by getting physically healthy as well. i move into a new place tomorrow tbat should hopefully be steady for the next few months after having moved 8 times since february. i can’t start testosterone quite yet, but i really want to build more muscle so i can get on the path to a trade job. i have a good face shape but at the moment it’s more feminine because it’s rounder. i have noticeable hips and a large stomach. these things are sources of dysphoria for me.

i’ve figured out my macros and i’ve planned recipes and a grocery list accordingly. i’m putting an emphasis on protein.

that leaves the exercise portion. until i can afford a gym membership, i’ll have to do it at home. what sort of exercises are best to build muscle and get rid of fat before testosterone? how long did it take to see results?
