Obviously part of binding is not having "cleavage." But I've noticed a problem when wearing certain shirts and any necklaces (I like to wear the long kind on a cord sometimes with a small pendant that means something to me). It looks unnatural when there's no dip at all between the pecs. I have a relatively small chest so it generally looks like pecs, other than the middle being further out than normal.
Has anyone edited/tailored their binder to create a bit of a dip in the middle that simulates the natural curvature of pecs?
