I've been considering if I want to slot a Recon Scout or Pathfinder for their respective loot and pickaxe bonuses. However, while I love finding bonus loot, I often find myself short on materials due to playing with a resource hungry Constructor friend of mine. If the Recon Scout bonus applies to materials dropped as you're breaking things down, I'd consider the bonus worth it, but if not, I should probably favor simply boosting my pickaxe's speed instead.

That said, just as the title asks: Does the percent chance to find extra loot from the Recon Scout's support bonus increase the amount of building material farmed? Or does it only apply to the various non-building items that drop once an object fully breaks?
