I've had a lot of problems evovling some of these new survivors. I don't know if it's limited to them as I haven't tried evolving a non event (husk) survivor. Often, just selecting them gives me an error "Unable to find worker item <GUID>". Assuming I don't get that, and I try to evolve, the evolution doesn't take place. It does take my mats (rain, manuals, xp), though. It took me a whole to realize I was losing the mats, and I tried a few times. This has now happened on two different survivors. One of them did seem to go through eventually.
