My GI suspects that I contracted a virus that gave me Ibs and now here I am on day 2 of my low fodmaps diet/lifestyle. Before my favorite go-tos were fruit and bread and I definitely love myself some sweets such as pound cake or cookies. Since my doctors visit, I’ve done extensive research. Ive got a pretty basic understanding of fodmaps, what I should and shouldn’t eat, and I also know that gluten free does not automatically mean low fodmap friendly. Now I’m about to make a grocery list but I’d love some more suggestions and preferably from some bread/sweet lovers like me and/or from someone who has been a part of this lifestyle for some time.
As I search the subreddit and google, I see a lot of the same suggestions going around. I know about sourdough, corn tortillas, gluten free cookies/pretzels, popcorn, and the peanut butter puff cereal. I would love some more brands and items to look for
Thank you for your time! My heart goes out to all of you, you are so strong and we got this <3
