I mean, 1) it's not child grooming.
Beyond that, 2) the entire premise of the "Don't Say Gay" bill is that parents should have the right to teach their kids about sexual orientation and gender identity when they feel it's appropriate. These parents think it's appropriate. What happened to their right to choose how to raise their kids?
It's illegal to let your kid have a kegger even on private property, it's also illegal to provide your kid with drugs or porn.
While true in Florida, that is not universally true.
There's lots of laws like this because parents are often irresponsible pieces of shit.
As defined by who exactly? You are trying to avoid the point that I raised - this is exactly what the GOP laws envisioned; parents choosing when to allow their children to learn about sexual orientation and gender identity.
