SliceX Issue

I recently upgraded from FL 10 to FL 12 on a new computer and have encountered an issue with SliceX. Whenever I select a region in SliceX and try to move it into the playlist using the button on the far right (not sure how to describe it) FL crashes instantly. This was a major thing I used to do all the time in FL 10 and I am wondering why it doesn't work anymore. Thanks for any help.
